Excellent meal, superb service. Set in corner of old bar area as the restaurant had a private party and reserved seating for "heats" fans. So we just pittered through the menu. Duck fat fries flight awsome, like sour cream version the best. Tuna tar tar was served table side. Olive caesar with just the right amount of dressing. Six ounce wagyu filet perfect char on outside perfect temp inside. Mmmmm yummmm. Cocktails interesting finished off with grasshopper milkshake, taste just like the girlscout cookie!q will definately return when back in the area! more

What a steak pouched in butter to 100 degrees soft tender juicy . Just a great meal seems all the chefs there are happy to be there indeed . The fries fried in Duck fat didnt wanna try em but they brought them out anyway wow never imagined fries could have that flavor . When I was there James Cann was there and El McPherson was there as well . Lotta celebs seem to dig it . Bottom line food is just dam good more

I did a review on this restaurant some weeks ago about how unprofessional the service was and how rude the staff treated me and my business guests. The comment that was indicated in my review were words from a letter that was sent to the manager. \r \r Well, I received a call from the GM at the restuarant apologizing for that evening and inviting me and my business associates for a complimentary dinner. \r \r It was a well deserved evening for me, Miss Golden Beauty, the Assistant Director of First Class Productions and the VP of First Class Productions were all in attendance. \r \r The staff was amazing which is how they are originally. We had a great meal from New York Stripped and Skirt Steaks, Maryland Bass, Kilda wine which was very good, tasty desert and a great evening. \r \r It went from a disater to a deserving evening for us all. We deserved an evening of great service and hospitality the GM and the staff of Bourbon Steakhouse deserved another chance to show us a great evening of that. \r \r Special thanks to John Ricardo for the perfect evening. \r \r Happy New Year to the staff of Bourbon Steakhouse Aventura. more

Wow! let me tell you about the Rude, Obnoxious and unprofessionalism that I experienced at this establishment. \r \r I was there for a business dinner on November 30, 2010, which I highly recommended to have the business dinner there. It was not a great night for me or my business associates as Bourbon Steak House was conducting another event which involved a sports figure. \r \r The manager (Francisco, if that's his correct name) was the rudest of all. He was so rude and unprofessional he folded under pressure. The event apparently had more attendees than they anticipated, so he started locking customers out of the restaurant that had already been there prior to this event, such as me. He also wouldn't let customers leave the restaurant which is a fire hazard. \r \r Once the Sports Figure arrived he lost his managerial skills and showed NO leadership. He ordered his staff to have us to move from our table so that they can block an area for Chris Bosh and his entourage and I refused. If I have never been disrespected or embarrassed this was the night to experience that reality. \r \r Upon leaving the restaurant I went back to have my valet ticket validated, which they were suppose to since we dined in the restaurant. Once again the rude manger would not allow me to come in and slammed the door shut and locked it like I was some type of thief in the night. I was hurt and embarrassed, so I paid the $45 for three valet tickets and left. \r \r My business associates were confused and upset. We could have gone to any restaurant in the Aventura area like Houstons, PF Chang's or Bella Luna to receive better service, but I made the choice to eat at Bourbon Steak house and had the WORSE night of my life. Never again!\r \r I will never and repeat NEVER patronize that restaurant and will not recommend it to anyone. \r \r The food is ok but its not worth the disrespect and rude service. more

Dined here on 2/13 with hubby. The place is modern and service is exceptional. However, we did not enjoy our dinner. They replaced bread with fries which were okay. We did not enjoy the caesar salad. The little baked thingy you got (sorry do not remember what it was) was okay but very salty. Our crispy whole chicken was not very crispy and was nothing special. The mashed potatoes were not very tasty at all. I have had way better milkshakes. Did not order dessert.\r All in all, I expected much more from BS. With Steak in your name, there should be more emphasis on steaks. They only offered rib eye and NY strip as dry-aged??????\r A restaurant of thsi caliber should put a little dance in your mouth. BS did not. Too many other places to return here. more

By boyfriend and I went here on a whim b/c I had so badly wanted to try a Kobe beef burger. Not to mention, they also serve duck-fat fries, which sounded like heaven to me. I was also dying to try marrow, since I always see great chefs on TV, i.e., Anthony Bourdain, ooohhhing and aahhhing about it. So we gave it a try and I like it over all, but had mixed feelings as well. The Kobe burger IS as good as everyone says it is. I'm not a rare-burger kind of girl, but I'll make an exception for this silky-smooth, "like-butta" beef. The duck fat fries were good, but not as rich and tasty as they sound. The marrow was nothing to write home about, but maybe it's just the one I had? I may give it a shot later on.\r \r So if you're looking for a good Kobe burger with a ritzy atmosphere, then go here. I'm sure the steaks are good, too. But I can only afford the burger for now =) (I believe the burger is only about $20).\r \r For a full review, go check out my blog:\r \r http://maureensfoodpassion.blogspot.com/2008/07/kobe-beef-burgers-duck-fat-fries-marrow.html more

Went to the burger bar, service not to par yet but they are trying, had the beef burger with caramelized onions ,rugola and avocado(they forgot the avocado). It was excellent. They need more affordable bottles of wine, had a malbec at $41. Do not go on wednesday, they have a band playing and is almost impossible to have a conversatio. more

Went here for my wife's b-day. The food was excellent, but the service was shoddy. A waiter knocked my wine glass into my lap, completely soaking me at the beginning of our dinner. The manager comes and offers to take care of the dry cleaning bill.\r \r Now, I'm wasn't going in this place looking for a hand out, but I think his first response should have been, "your dinner is taken care of". When you arrive to a nice restaurant to have them dump wine on you, and then you have to sit in the freezing damp clothes and PAY for it?\r \r I accepted his offer and left that night. It took 3 different phone calls to the managers at this restaurant and 3 different faxes of receipt to get them to finally cut a check for 32 dollars for dry cleaning. \r \r This is not how you treat your guest when the steak on the menu is over 100 dollars! more

The bar is beautiful; ambience is wonderful, tables a little tight and the food somewhat pricy but ummm good? Well worth every penny, if your with good company ,that is! To see George Hamilton and guest was also a treat. I would recommend this to anyone who has class and wants to impress that someone special. Pros: They serve your scotch with shaved ice Cons: Pricy for penny pinchers. more

Disapointing 10/20/2008

I ordered a rib eye stead medium well, after a few bites it was clear that the steak was more like medium rare than medium well. By the time I got some ones attention the rest of my party had finished eating and all the manager can offer is to cook another steak, which I declined. I expected more from a restaurant that is so expensive. To make matters worst the manger tried to tell me that it is my fault because I didn?t complain when he came to enquire if every thing was OK, at that point we had hardly started eating. I don?t recommend this place not only because of the improperly prepared meal, but also because of the lack of desire on the part of the manager to take responsibility and offer a reduction in the bill. I should have known better when the menu said that 18% gratuity is added to the bill regardless of the number of people in the party. That say?s it all. more
