I have never been treated in such an un-professional manner in my life by a place that I have spent over $10,000 in the last two years. The veterinarian on staff at this hospital does not treat private and personal matters, private. What I experienced first hand was being told many private things in the waiting area with other patients and staff listening in. This was the first time any of the issues were brought to my attention and the way she handled it was extremely rude and un-professional. Not to mention they butchered my little boy doing a simple neuter.\r \r Don’t take your loving little friends here if you care about them. The services rendered here are weak and you will be treated poorly.\r more

My family pets are as important to me as my human family members. So I go the distance to make sure they receive top of the industry in veterinary care. I found Boulevard Vet and Dr. Pozniak 6 years ago when one of my furry children was diagnosed with cancer. The vet I had been faithful to for years had no positive outlook or suggested treatment options for my pet. I was referred to Dr. Pozniak by a holistic conscious friend and began treatments I never knew existed. Boulevard Vet's facility is clean, with a friendly staff, and offers alternative therapy options from one of the most accomplished, highly accredited pet Doctors in our area. I would go so far as to call Dr. Pozniak a Veterinary ""guru"" . I know each case is individual, but, she was able to halt the progression of my pet's cancer, and helped to provide 2 more years of quality life to my dear and beloved Freckles. And when it came time to face the inevitable, I was helped through the process with the highest level of care and regard. I feel so fortunate to have discovered Boulevard Vet and will stay under their care as long as I am a pet parent. more

After I was told by my dog's regular vet that all options had been exhausted in trying to figure out why he was losing his ability to walk, I decided to look outside of the conventional medicine box. I found Boulevard Veterinary Hospital for Integrative Healing and began my investigation. I made an appointment with Dr. Pozniak who has been in practice for over 30 years. Her credentials are abundant and services include both conventional medical care as well as certified acupuncturist, Traditional Chinese medicine, Cold Laser, underwater treadmill, chiropractic, and several other options for pets in need. I was pleased by her attentive demeanor to my dog. She seemed to immediately speak his language and began a form of communication with him that I had not seen with his prior vet of 7 years. She prescribed sessions of cold laser therapy, chiropractic, Chinese herbal supplements, and underwater treadmill for my dog. With an open mind and positive attitude, I approached this new plan of treatment. After one month of dedication to these treatments, my dog began exhibiting a change that had me wanting to high five Dr. Pozniak. After two months, my dog had regained mobility to the point that he and I could actually take a walk together. His hind legs no longer were in a state of atrify. I was dumbfounded. Mainly because I had been advised by his previous vet that there was no hope and I should consider putting him to sleep. Turns out what my dog was suffering from was disc misalignment with pinched nerves and some build up of scar tissue that was causing his immobility. I'm writing this review so that if there are other pet owners who have been advised by their regular vet that there is no hope, please consider another approach. The treatments that Dr. Pozniak prescribed were spot on for my dog. There is no other facility in our area with the expertise and accommodation for integrative healing. My occupation is in Criminal Investigation, and I certainly took precaution to investigate Boulevard Veterinary Hospital for Integrative Healing and Dr. Pozniak before making my initial appointment. My findings led me to the right place and I have my best friend by my side today with his tail wagging happily. As long as I have a pet, I will be with Boulevard Vet. more

Not Miss Congeniality, but the Best Vet In the 757 12/20/2010

It's interesting to read the reviews criticizing Dr. Connie's professional demeanor when it's her medical skills that are important. Unfortunately I met her late in my dogs' lives, but she was fantastic with both of them. She's not overly friendly, but she was concerned enough about my dogs to routinely call me after hours and give me very personal attention. I received the warmest note from her when my pet passed away. She's everything I'd want in a vet and more. She's a little more expensive than many, but that's ok. I'm willing to pay for the personal attention. There are lots of affable chaps out there who will slap you on the back and pat your dog on the head...I've had one of those, too. I'll take Dr. Connie anyday. more

Unfortunately, I can't give a no star review. Dr. Pozniak has absolutely no compassion for the animals she treats. She comes across as cold and uncaring. I want my vet to at least seem concerned about my pets health and I didn't get that from her. more

Holistic AND Conventional Veterinary Medicine!!!! 5/21/2009

We've had pets for a long time but once we found Dr. Pozniak we never left. That was over 20 years ago. She has done everything for our dogs and cats including vaccines, surgeries and dental cleanings. She has helped our dog with her allergies and joint problems with acupuncture and herbal medicine. She's never pushy and always lets us make informed decisions after telling us what care she has to offer. Her vaccine prices are still the same as they year over 10 years ago. Her staff has been with her forever and they are lovely and always remember our names. She even sent us Holiday Cards and a beautiful Sympathy note after our cat had to be put to sleep. They are like family. Pros: Dr. Pozniak offers Holistic and Regular Veterinary Care more

Best Veterinary Service 10/17/2008

I've been taking my dogs to Blvd. Vet for more than 15 years. Dr. Pozniak (a.k.a. Dr. Connie) has been fantastic. She recommends and provides alternative care for injuries and illnesses to prevent having to do invasive surgery. She and her staff recognize me when I walk in the door, talk to each of my dogs (because they know them all by name) and help to make sure they have to best care possible. I wouldn't trade this team for anything! Pros: Great staff, great service, excellent care, new facility more

Do Not Take Your Animal Here 4/7/2008

This clinic looks nice on the outside, but once you past the pretty facade you'll encounter a rude Vet! Dr. Pozniak treats you the owner like your are a complete idiot and know nothing about your animal and writes rude snarky comments about your pet in her charts. I left my pet there overnight for treatment and they sent it home to me the next day covered in the animals own urine. Clearly they didn't care for it while it was in their care. If you like being treated rudely by the doctor and her staff this is the place for you! Cons: The owner is rude and over charges! more

Friendly Staff 11/27/2007

I left Acredale Animal Hospital to come to Boulevard after I had had a bad experience. As soon as I got my dog her shots and brief check up, the dr. checked my dog out and we told her of some things, and she ran some tests and found out she has a thyroid problem! We told Acredale about all the same stuff and they said the way she was acting was allergies! We immediately got her on meds to control the situation and her thyroid is looking good. I like that we can take her in there on emergency situations, even though it isnt life threatening. more
