Editorial review from Citysearch 11/27/2012

4 stars. I bought a '08 nissan xterra with less than 35K on it in September. The negotiated price was a bit under book and the salesman though apparently 'green' got answers to all my questions. The radiator sprung a leak two months later and they replaced it with a genuine Nissan radiator at no cost to me, plus corrected a few other minor problems. The only thing was that I had bought the extended warranty and, although I think the repair should have been covered under the Mass lemon law, they charged it to the warranty, I presume so they could be paid for the work. more

Not even worth one star 11/7/2008

HORRIBLE Service department which charged to rotate my tires but never performed the service. When confronted they apologized when it was brought to their attention the tires were never rotated but I was charged for the service. I called the service rep and the service manager and both did not return my calls. They suggested I have the brakes done and when I replied I wanted to talk to my husband first they persisted in pushing the issue with me. NO MEANS NO. This was my second bad experience. My first bad experience was when I came in at 3500 miles to have the oil changed and was told that I was physically damaging the car by having the oil changed that soon. I will never visit this service department ever again. Ernie should stick to his band because his service department at Boch Honda is not customer service oriented. Cons: Too numerous to mention - condescending, high pressure, incompentent service staff more

Horrible Service and poor management 8/15/2007

Because Consumer Guide told me the Honda is a great car, I bought it and it IS great. I now have a PRIUS, as well and am terrified to go to Boch Toyota, next door to this rip-off place. I took my Honda in to get new brakes, drive it out and hear a whirring noise that gets louder from the front right tire well, the faster I go. Take it back: ""That's the bearings. That will be $220"". I protest,"" There WAS no sound when I brought it in for new front brakes."" ""Too bad."" I take it to Mass Tire: They say, ""Too bad you didn't have Boch Honda fix these bearings when you had the new brakes put in. They had to go right by them to install the brakes."" That's all I needed: email to National Honda. then finally get a call from Honda Service, ""Bring it in."" They fixed it, but as I drove out, the tape deck wouldn't work (nor does it to this day). I take it back, The tape drive worked fine before I brought it in, but someone sabotaged it in retaliation for my first complaint. Go to Service Manager: Nothing doing. Go to Sale Manager: Nothing Doing. So I just gave up on it. But now I dread ANY dealership owned by Boch, so will be driving to Brockton to get Copeland Toyota to do my service work. At least National Honda is on the ball. Pros: National Honda will back you up on a legitimate gripe. Cons: Poor service, poor, apathetic, hypocritical lying management more

Horrible service--avoid at all costs! 7/9/2007

I just bought a Honda Accord here, and it was the worst experience ever. I knew what I wanted, and the price I wanted to pay so I did all my negotiating through e-mail. Boch offered me the best overall deal so I decided to go with them. What a stupid mistake. The only reason they get 1 star is because I can't give none.\r \r I can't fit everything I want to say here, so I'll just take you through the lowlights:\r \r *Completely incompetent sales person who started telling me about how he needed a good review from me on his customer service survey in order to get his full commission, and he really needed the money for school--before i had started filling out any paperwork.\r *Promised a delivery date of Tues.; a manager called me that morning and said my car was ready but when I showed up it wasn't ready. They refused to let me take it so they gave me a rental which they were supposed to pay for. Promised the car would be ready the next day, and the salesman would personally deliver it to my home.\r *No phone call at all from the salesman regarding delivery time so I called him at 6 p.m., and was told the car still wasn't ready, but I could keep the rental another day at their cost. Again told it would definitely be ready next day. Salesman tried to blame my insurance agent for delay, even though Boch didn't fax paperwork to them until Wed. night. \r *After I picked up the car salesman suddenly became concerned about my experience there. Called multiple times even though he had not bothered to keep in contact with me beforehand, when it actually mattered.\r *Wrote 5 page complaint to GM. Lackluster response.\r *Discovered they charged me for the rental that was supposed to be paid for by them. Last straw.\r \r If you want to go somewhere that just cares about sales and not customer service, by all means go to Boch. But you'll probably be sorry that you did.\r \r For more detail, please see my review on yelp dot com. Pros: Competitive price Cons: Terrible service. No customer satisfaction more
