Boat Rack

World Class is right. I've been a Boat Rack customer and Chaparral owner for over 15 years. Always top notch service. Most of the employees have been there for years and call me by name! I've bought multiple Chaparral boats from them and have always received a great deal and professional attention! I noticed a couple bad reviews so I had to chime in. They treat everybody very fairly. I think sometimes what finds these review site are mostly "bad eggs". Out of 100%, I'd say they'll make 98% very happy!! more

What has happened to service Lake Norman? Boats are expensive, and their owners buy them for recreation. So why the Boat Rack would take advantage of Service Customers is beyond me. But I would strongly suggest NOT taking you boat here for ANY KIND of engine service or the most basic maintenance. IF you do, check their work immediately.\r \r I was sold an In Peller, as they suggested it be replaced every year. While, manufacturer suggests every 10 years. An after my first fill up this season, I checked my oil only to find it black. But, I had paid for an oil change. When I called them to inquire, they said that they need an oil change every 30 hours! Manufacturer suggests every 100 hours or once a season! And the worst part- this was our first season with this used boat. And when I checked the oil filter, IT WAS THE ORIGINAL FILTER THAT CAME WITH THE BOAT!!! ( Obvious because the filter was sprayed black like the motor as it goes through the assembly line process) Truly unbe more

Get a clue on how to treat customers. Be honest, trustworthy, provide quality work - and quit taking $$ for services not rendered. Worst Service on the lake!! more

I recently purchased a new boat from the Boat Rack. When I first entered the dealership the salesman who greeted me was a bit off putting. He asked me what I was looking to spend, and when I answered, he told me I would be better off throwing that money in the lake. Needless to say, I was insulted. However, after browsing the showroom and researching boats on line, I decided that the Chaparral was what I wanted. I returned, and bought a boat. more
