You can go in, pick out any sort of un-glazed pottery, pick out a few colors of glaze, and paint away.\r
You can freehand, or there are stencils and sponges and other supplies available. The staff was really friendly, and are willing to offer advice.\r
You buy the pottery ($10 for a mug or cereal bowl, and goes up from there) and then pay a studio fee ($9.50 per painter, unless you get a group rate, then I think it's cheaper). The studio fee covers most glazes and the firing. If you want to use a special glaze, it costs a bit more.\r

It would be a fun, crafty sort of no-pressure date.
