Vintage Feel 4/15/2006

Blue Ribbon has a very vintage diner feel to it which is a great atmosphere to dine with your kids. My daughter loves the brownie sundae but is happy to chow down on the chicken strips. The food is great and always served with a smile. The music can be a bit loud but I guess it helps with the atmosphere! more

good service. Sometimes the music is too loud but usually the friendly staff and food make up for that annoying thing! The only thing I've had that I didn't like at all was the peach cobbler! Not good.. grainy and cold! more

Excellent Food 9/26/2005

Blue Ribbon diner has some excellent food. Their sitted but there are times that you have to wait a while just to get seated but,once you do you realize it was worth it. They have made their order of onion rings smaller so those are NOT worth the price if you ask me. Their maniated chicken sandwhich platter is awesome! They also have homemade milk shakes that are to die for. They are building another Diner in Mebane, NC which is closer to use then Burlinton's and We can't wait. YUMMY! more

All American Family Fare 8/14/2005

Blue Ribbon has something for everyone. They offer daily Blue Plate Specials, Sunday and Monday they have one of the best Chicken Pies you'll find. The burgers and sandwiches are always a good choice, but they also offer salads, veggies and a meat special every day. The desserts are some of the best in town. The Chocolate Chess Pie is awesome. Don't let the Haw River Mud Pie scare you, it's a huge brownie sundae. Very family friendly and fun. more

Blue Ribbon Diner 8/5/2005

This is a classic styled restaurant with lots of neon lights and old fashioned (still new) furniture. Pictures of high schools and celebrities from the 50's and 60's, and an old fashioned juke box in town are some other things that make this restaurant old fasioned. Specialties are Spagetti, Milkshakes, Desserts, and lunch baskets. Once the waiter accidentally brought someone in my party the wrong entre, but after quickly correcting it, all our food was free. more
