I have gone to this animal clinic for 4 years now and have found the staff to be very caring and concerned about not only my four pets health, but also found the staff paitent in taking time to explain procedures and test results. My family has used their servces for several years and also have found the staff to be caring and compasionate. I have had a couple of very ill pets and they have worked in getting me to the proper specialist for my pets needs and provided any follow up care I need. I would advise everyone to take their pet to Blue Ravine Animal Hospital. I love their new hospital. There is more waiting room and a larger counter area so that anyone with not so social pets can feel comfortable in the hospital. check them out and see for yourself...... ;-) more

Since she moved to the new up-scale building, hired more vets, and had to increase her staff, she is no longer the hands on vet that I use to trust. \r \r They charged us for services that were not performed (our dog visit) (they said they owe us services that we paid for already and then sent us an additional bill) and charged for unnecessary extras (our cat visit). Once shame on us. After the second time, we're taking our pets and our wallets somewhere else.\r \r I'd rather spend my money for the care of my pets and not for the cost of their high rent building. more

The staff and vets at Blue Ravine Animal Hospital are all terrific! We were referred to this vet by El Dorado K9 who trained our dogs. We have been taking out 2 dogs their for several years and have had only great caring people to work with and great service. We have large breed dogs and they are very good with them. more

Beware of this clinic. I wish I had read the reviews first. My mother took her 8 month old cat in for spay, front declaw, and shots. They told us upon drop off that we could come in the next day and visit her, but not take her home for monitoring purposes. As my mother was working I stopped in to check on her cat the next day, in which I was denied access. This made me very suspicious as I explained I would not disturb or wake her, I just wanted to see her. No compassion or reassurance from the staff what so ever. Upon picking her up the following day we had serious concerns. They had been very hard on her, she had a nick under her left eye, which they said she must have done to herself after surgery. I can't see how that would happen to a cat with full drugs on board and a collar around her neck not letting her access her own face. They clipped her back toe nails completely to the quick - she had dried blood everywhere. She was filthy, completely traumatized and will barely come more

What a great staff! They really take the time to be with your animals. I have a guinea pig and a special needs cat (poor little guy was born with one eye). Anyway, they have treated both my animals with love and respect. The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I refer them to my family and friends. more

Please do not take your pets here! Our Boxer had a beautiful little puppy that became very sick when she was only a few days old. We took her to Blue Ravine & told Dr. Sweet that we didn't think she was doing well. We also brought our female dog along (the mother) in case they wanted to evaluate her & make sure nothing was being passed to her baby. Without running any test they said that the puppy had an infection, wasn't thriving & needed to be tube fed. I told Dr. Sweet we would do whatever we needed to save the puppy & she stated "well within reason;" that should have been my first clue. They gave us antibiotics, gave the puppy a fluid injection & sent us home, without even bothering to look at the mother. The next day things only seemed worse and we went back to the office. While we were sitting in the waiting area a vet tech came out, picked up the puppy & said that the puppy had an infection, was going to die and that we should euthanize her because she wasn't going to make more
