If you were in the mood for a conventioal pizza like you see on TV ads, you've come to the wrong place. Black Rock serves up a qualitatively different fare. The crusts are thin, crispy and almost border on delicate. But, it's the toppings that win over the taste buds. My favorite is the Razorback, a homemade pulled pork and bbq topping that keeps me coming back. Oh yeah, that and their desserts (try the Italian wedding cake). The atmosphere is clean, bright and family friendly. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for a different pizza experience. more

Great pizza! I particularly like the chicken and sage pizza and large salad. Friendly service. Very affordable. Small. Informal. I always dine here when I visit Reno. more

Outstanding 8/23/2005

The food, appearance and the attitude and helpfulness of the wait staff make this an outstanding establishment to frequent at lunch or dinner. My husband does not like pizza and he is always anxious to go back. The menu ofers many things for those on a diet or for people who just like good food. We have recommended Black Rock Pizza to many people and have not gotten any negative comments only raves ! The sandwiches are great and the salads fresh and different. more

Best Gourmet Pizza in Reno/Sparks 6/23/2005

Black Rock Pizza has the best gourmet pizza in the area. The Red Headed Stranger is my favorite pizza that I have had since visiting New York. It's worth the extra costs to try this pizza. PROS: Great pizza CONS: No delivery or catering more

I am in love with this pizza place, any other is terrible in comparison!!! Such a pleasure, the prices are good too and the waitstaff is very nice, no matter how much food your kids are throwing on the floor....they come baring treats for the kids!!!! more

Great Pizza, Friendly Staff 6/1/2005

This restaurant is a very short drive from our home. However, we had never stopped to check it out. Several months ago my husband and I decided to check it out. What a pleasant suprise. The dining area is warm, clean, and the staff are extremely friendly and accomodating. The pizza is declious and the different types of pizza are very different and refreshing when compared to chain pizza restaurant. It has become a favorite of our and we will continue to recommend this restaurant to our friends and family. PROS: CONS: W more
