Everything I have had is good, a little pricey, but worth it. I would go back. more

My experience with BBBC was mixed. First they don't seem to know how to cook a steak. When my GF and I ate there we both had steak, hers was undercooked, mine overcooked. When management was called her steak was replaced and I was dissed. I had finished my steak 75% of the way and would have been fine with them not comping it. But I received an attitude and the over all feeling that they thought I was scamming them.\r \r My GF steak was redone and still undercooked. \r \r We both had blueberry beer that was great. \r \r Prices ok\r Food quality overall ok but cooked incorrectly.\r Service below par, way below par. more

We love coming here for the Brie Pillow and salads, we have wine and an enjoyable time. The service is usually fine and they don't rush us out. It's one of our 'go-to' places for a girls luncheon. more

Celebrated here with a very early dinner. Started with a Brie Pillow....great presentation of fruit and bread. My dining partner had the Grilled Chicken Salad which she devoured. I went with the Cheddar Chipolte Burger, I had to discard the bun as it wasn't robust enough to handle the burger, but the remains were very tasty. The deal of the day was the Sampler Trio Desert, for $8.00 you get a 5 nut brownie, chef's choice cheesecake & housemade carrot cake. As full as we were, it was a great way to finish the meal. Total....$58.00 with no adult beverages. more

Drove 20 miles to try their "award winning burgers" Bad news,,, they were way overcooked , the bacon was inedible and the roll was possibly old as it fell apart. At 12 bucks a burger Id rather get four Big Macs and enjoy them .. Too bad we really looked foward to their burgers... Wont be back more

I never miss eating at Big Bear when I am in South Florida. The food is always good. Don't miss the Beer Muenster cheese soup, the ribs, lobster mac & cheese, pizzas, and although it is listed as a starter, the Brie Pillow makes a terrific dessert.\r \r You won't regret eating here! more

Everything is good, nice atmosphere, nice for friends or a date if everyone would stop bringing their noisy kids. Burgers, meaty chili, fish, steak, chicken, micro brewed beers, and OMG homemade root beer! more

Our Family loves the Big Bear. The Cheese Beer Soup is amazing! We love the Brie Pillow appetizer. For entrees, both the veggie and regular burgers are DELISH! Also the turkey meatloaf and ribs are wonderful. The desserts are homemade. I love the creme brele that comes in an edible basket. While I am not a beer drinker, many in our family say it is the best. We are regulars for many years. Service is usually great from the highly professional staff, mainly consisting of familiar faces who have been there a long time. more

Dbl date w/ friends (they live in CS - we were visiting). It was up to me to choose a rsnt. I chose this place. No regrets. GET THE POP ROCK martini. LOVED LOVED LOVED IT (reminded me of having POP Rock candy as a little girl). Maybe bcuz they put some on rim of glass - lol! Even my friend got it (after tasting mine ;-}) Our server (wish i rmbr his name) was great. Food was good (enjoyed by evry1 @ table). Go and try it. The next time we are in CS, we will stop by & get the PR mrtn & the calamari for aptzr (just the girls this time) more

Reading the reviews I am shocked at the negative comments, but they seem quite old. In fairness, reviews should be in descending order\r \r For over 8 years I travel over 30+ miles round trip 1-2 times a week to eat, drink, and interact with the many friends (patrons and staff) I have met at 'THE BEAR"\r \r The food is always very good to excellent \r \r Service is terrific. Staff is friendly. Restaurant is always clean. It's privately owned. Both owners are hands on, their attention to detail assures that the quality remains high.\r \r Come early or be prepared to wait. more

I haven't had a bad experience at Big Bear, aside from having to wait almost an hour to be seated, I have no complaints. However understandable when the food is so delicious. Great beer and turkey meatloaf! more

One of my favorites. Surprised at some of the revues. I've never had a bad meal or bad service. Try the beer cheese soup. more

The place is dark (I guess that's intimate) the service is so-so..On a recent visit, after a 10 minute wait, we went to the hostess and asked if anyone was taking care of that station. 5 minutes later, a woman came to the table, introduced herself and said I am NOT your server but I'll get you drinks. However, despite this, their brie cheese in puff pastry with garlic, apples, grapes and a french baguette is worth the poor service! more

Gotta try the Wedge...and if you are a vegetarian (like my wife) the Veggy Burger is a must....as for the carnivorous folks like me..eat the burgers or their ribs...either way you win! more

A good place for a beer and a burger and to mingle with the "regulars" Don't bother ordering the entrees, it's not a good enough place for that! A good place to "slum it" in Coral Springs. more

Family surprised me for my birthday last week. I tried the Rib Eye Sandwich. They have everything from a plain steak or burger to things you don't find anywhere else, like the Munster Cheese Soup. My family is very picky, and everyone finds something good here consistently. A few weeks ago they had the vegetable special of spaghetti squash which was awesome. The service is sometimes good and sometimes not so good, but the food is consistently good. Medium priced, and depends what you get. more
