I haven't tried too many other delis in the San Fernando Valley...so Big Apple is the best example I've got. I've had breakfast, lunch and dessert here. The menu is varied...you don't have to worry about not finding a good option. I've had better chicken soup in the Southland, but the bagel/lox plate is plentiful and comes with a decent amount of garnishes. The pricing is a little high for a "mall" eatery. The service is nothing to write home about...but nothing to pan, either. Of course, it's in the mall so you'll have to find a spot on the upper level parking if you're looking to do very little walking.
