This was the first hotel I've spent over night in Chicago and I was generally happy with everything. I'd booked a single bed room through Hotels.com. At check in, the guest service staff were polite and there were no hassles or mixups. My room was clean and comfortable. There was free wireless internet, but you have to get the code at the front desk, which is pretty standard. Free breakfast was cereal, coffee and juice. There was also a small pool! I drove into the city but I was delighted to see that it was very convenient to Chicago Midway Airport. It's not a brand new, over the top place, but if you need a clean, affordable place to stay, the staff is friendly and the rooms are pretty decent
