Great Service-Nice Ambience 3/28/2008

My husband and I have lived within walking distance of Bento Sushi Bar for over a year now. Tonight was our first time in and I have to say....we were both really impressed! I am a culinary school student and am often somewhat hard to please. Being unfamiliar with their menu, we asked quite a lot of questions and our server was always patient and helpful. We had seaweed salad (my husband loved), spicy tuna rolls (excellent!!), crab rolls (very good), philly rolls (again very good), and quick seared tuna sashimi (wonderful with the radish/carrot salad), and for dessert a green tea ice cream. Pros: Great Service, Yummy Sushi, Ambience Cons: Parking during lunch/dinner rush more

I have eaten at Bento at least ten times over the past couple years (I eat out several times per week), and can definitely recommend this place. The owners are very friendly, and do a good job. It's more casual than Miso and other ""places to be seen"", but has very good sushi. Bento may not be the best place in town for sushi, but it's a good one nonetheless. Pros: Good sushi, friendly service, relaxed atmosphere. Cons: Service can be a bit slow during lunch/dinner rush. more

We live near Bento Sushi Bar and stopped one evening just for fun. We were overwhelmed by the attentive service and quality of the food. Rachel and Ricky are the owners. They take time to chat with their guests, they asked us for our opinion, and what we think of new items they create. This is a wonderful spot for a relaxing, quality sushi experience. I take clients there for lunch. Everyone I have entertained at Bento's agrees it is a wonderful experience. The great white tuna roll is outstanding! Our favorite server is a young college student. She is very helpful and provides tremendous service! This is a great spot for consistently excellent sushi, great service and a very fair price! Pros: Quality of the sushi, service, and attention to the customers by the owners Cons: None more

I love SUSHI and my two favorite places are Osaka and Drunken Fish, and Miso and Ill tell you that Bento can not compare, the server I had was not friendly, the sushi bar where I sat was dirty and sticky. But most of all the Sushi was not very good at all. If your trying to find a great place to go and get AWESOME sushi, I would not reccommend you go to Bento!!!!! Pros: UMMMM none Cons: Everything more

went to benot for the fist time 2 years ago just after haveing a bad experiance at other sushi bars. I fell in love with the atmosphere and the wormth of the owners. this is the only sushi bar that i will continue to go to. I have to drive 25 minutes to get there instead of driving the 3 minutes to Nobu or I love mister sushi. The flavors and freshness can not be matched! Oh and one other thing that is sets bento apart form the others is that all of the servers speak english, it makes it really nice. Pros: freshness, parking, friendly staff more
