Had Bayonne Roofing estimator come to my house and after going on the roof he saw the problem right away. It was with my built in gutter. After agreeing on the fair price I was offered the option of the best day to schedule for me. I asked for a Saturday appointment and on that Saturday they showed up and completed the job. Everything was cleaned up and on Monday when it rained I had no problem anymore. They actually called me to check and see if there were any problems and luckily everything is still great. I hired HUDSON Roofing To replace my roof HORRIBLE MISTAKE! These guys quoted me a price on a replacement roof what I got was a roof over an old roof everything they said they were going to do they didnt.I noticed the roof seperating from the building two days after they finished. The owner kept calling saying he was going to take care of it.THEN called and said you know what lets just call it even and didnt finish the work.Now something that I thought was taken care of is now an issue again! I dont usually write about companys but I felt the need to WARN everyone!STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!! more

We had a roof that has leaked for years, so my mom called Bayonne roofing because they are known for excellent work for years. The owner retired and his son took over the business, and I think in the beginning they may have had some issues with unhappy customers during their transition. I have to admit at first my mother was not satisfied because it leaked somewhere else a few months later. I contacted them and they were very nice from the start, contrary to what I had heard from other sources. They came back and fixed the new spot where it was leaking, which was 40yrs old anyway and now was the cause of the new leak. They even knocked the price down due to water damage inside. I am COMPLETELY happy with the job they have done, and the owner assures me if we ever get a leak he will come back to fix it. He proved to me that he stands behind his work. Do not hire this company, you will be wasting your money. I had an old roof with some missing shingles that did not leak. Now I have a new roof that leaks constantly. After some lame attempts, they refused to fix the problem. Cons: Shoddy workmanship more

I hired Bayonne Roofing to replace my roof. My formerly leak free roof leaked horribly during the first rain after Bayonne Roofing installed a new roof. After the first heavy leak, Bayonne Roofing told me they would need an additional $2500 to fix the problem on top of the already negotiated contract price! It has leaked 7 times so far and continues to leak to this day despite Bayonne Roofing returning to ""fix"" the problem. When Bayonne Roofing returns to ""fix"" the problem, they just apply roof cement here and there and make no structural repairs They also broke my awning during installation and repaired it in a shoddy fashion. They also cut electrical cords in my ceiling cutting off power in my house which was restored several hours later. They began work without having proper permits to begin the work. They also broke a chimney cap on my roof and replaced it with an ill fitting one. They also did not install ventilation in my roof. To this day Bayonne Roofing refuses to fix the roof properly or refund my money.
