This women is extremely knowledgeable and is an excellent evaluator. She does not take things for face value, she digs deep to find out the truth and truly tries to resolve problems. She sticks up for parents that have been alienated from their children. She is the reason my husband got to be reunited with his son after years of litigation. I am proud to know this women and I am proud of the work she does. Thank you Dr Bashkoff! more

This woman lies. She is bias toward women. She takes the truth and twists it. She doesn't have a soul and is naïve to the damage she creates by lieing to the court. more

I have never written an online review but I am writing to hopefully save some from similar anguish. I actually had my lawyer request a court-ordered family psychological evaluation because my former spouse has a long history of severe mental health issues. I naively thought this court-ordered process would help my case for custody. I also naively thought Dr. Bashkoff would review the extensive history of med records documenting addictions and mental health issues to include attempted suicide, DUIs, arrests, multiple domestic violence incidents, etc. and realize that this person was incapable of taking care of themselves, let alone two children. Instead of analyzing this documentation and making a logical and reasonable recommendation that this person should have limited custody, Dr. Bashkoff instead made a custody recommendation based on lies from my former spouse. Because Dr. Bashkoff believed the lies instead of the extensive records, she recommended to the court that my ex-spouse was "more responsible with the children" therefore should have full custody with me seeing them only every other weekend. Ironically, within hours of this recommendation, my former spouse went out to celebrate the "victory" at the bars and ended up with another DUI arrest. Only after this incident, the court requested a reevaluation giving Dr. Bashkoff a "redo". Dr. Bashkoff then changed her recommendation to the court solely because the other parent would likely lose their license and ability to transport the children. To further show how incapable and irresponsible Dr. Bashkoff is at evaluating serious psychological disorders and providing custody recommendations, the parent she said was "more responsible with the children" has since seen a revolving door with jail, rehab, and binges and only has only seen the children but a few times in years. In the end, it worked out for the best interest of the children despite the ineptness and inadequacies Dr. Bashkoff. Highly recommend you find someone else. more

She picks sides too fast and ignores the real facts. Black and white evidence against someone and chooses their side because they have more money than the other party involved.They Used her in 2009 and she was ok again in 2015 and she decided against an irrational decision based on the other party talking to her. She has her mind set on what she wants and not what is in the best interest of children. more

When you are court ordered to see Dr. Bashkoff it is important to remember that she has her own agenda. She makes her money by charging $650. per person for a "psychological" evaluation and between $3,000 and $5,000. to testify. This evaluation is based on approximately 30- 90 minutes of time she will spend with each person asking very specific questions. She will then write a report on HER opinion of you and your situation. Dr. Bashkoff does not perform this service because she is compassionate or cares about you or your family. She makes her very good living reporting to the court system what she chooses. It would not serve her well to always tell the truth. If she has a relationship, working or otherwise, with an attorney, judge etc. it benefits her to flavor her report to assist them. Otherwise, she would lose business. Her behavior during these sessions is very confrontational and regardless of her bias or unethical behavior she is protected by the court system and cannot be held accountable. I believe that Dr. Bashkoff has convinced many people that she is an authority on many topics however, she is clearly a very sad individual with an education. more

I cannot say enough about the excellent job Dr. Bashkoff did with my custody evaluation. She focused completely on what was best for my children and her insights were amazing. She is one of the most intelligent people I have met. She is able to see through people who are not genuine and quickly determine their true agenda, which is so crucial in a custody evaluation. My children felt so comfortable talking to her. She made them feel at ease. She is extremely professional and does a very thorough and meticulous job. I will always be thankful for the outstanding job she did for my family. She is simply the best and I cannot recommend her highly enough. more

My wife and I saw Dr. Bashkoff for a custody evaluation a couple of weeks ago. Dr. Bashkoff was attentive, compassionate, and very professional with our case. We were able to reach an honest, and genuine level of conversation between my family and Dr. Bashkoff. Despite some of the obvious negative reviews listed here by past disgruntled clients/patients, Dr. Bashkoff provided excellent services for our family. I was hesitant at first after reading the ridiculous reviews left by some patients, but you have to take those for what they are, and they are obviously from people in need of help. more

I had a similar experience to all of the other negative reviews here. She was rude, picked sides quickly and ignored any evidence that contradicted her opinion. She was brash, confrontational and turned what should have been an easy divorce into a nightmare. She just wanted to collect her fee and wield her power. I wouldn't use words like compassionate, open minded, concerned, caring, or honest to describe this woman. If you need or expect any of those qualities from your healthcare professional, look elsewhere. more

Attentive, experienced, and professional are the best words to describe my experiences with Dr. Bashkoff. Throughout my therapy sessions, Dr. Bashkoff helped me identify my issues, work through them, and become a better person. She motivated me to takes the necessary steps in my life to make the changes needed and now I am a better person because of it. She gets right to the point, no nonsense. Each session helped me work through my issues in a straight forward manner, leaving me with a clear vision and understanding of what I was going through. I am forever thankful and glad to have met Dr. Bashkoff. more

This was a wonderful experience. Dr. B made me feel good and really listened to me. She gave me some good tips and homework assignments. I would recommend her to everyone, adults and children. Very positive experience. more
