Worst Emergency Doctor in KC area 2/27/2010

This man is an Emergency Department Doctor who has absolutely no business even being around people let alone sick & injured Patients. His ""Mightier than Thou"" Attitude is second only to his ""God complex"". Rather than read a child's Patient chart, this man would rather accuse the parents of smoking and proceed to lecture them that this is why the children are sick. The truth of the matter is that the parents do NOT smoke, they are forced to live in a home with smokers due to the economic climate of this day and age. So this ""Doctor"" would rather these parents keep their children homeless so that they do not smell of smoke! This man is as condescending and pompous as they come. The oldest child presented with a fever of 102.1 yet nothing was administered to reduce the fever. The second child who has a serious history of middle ear infections (treated at this location) and is antibiotic resistant was told to get some OTC Tylenol Cold & Flu and let nature take its course. The last ear infection nearly cost this child his ear drum and at this same department was given both antibiotics as well as Acetaminophen - Codeine for the severe pain. When one of the parents tried to explain about the child suffering from middle ear infections, this man only continued to lecture the parents about smoking. He clearly never even read the children's charts, had he taken a minute to do his job, he would have discovered that the parents are correct about their children. The Mother tried to explain to this man that the last time the second child was treated at this location he was given both antibiotics, pain meds and a shot to help the antibiotics. Had this man taken the couple of minutes to read the Patient charts, he would have come across this information. The Emergency Department was not busy at this time, so there was no excuse for the Doctor to fail to do his job and read the Patient charts. Cons: Everything about this man is a CON more
