Was Expecting FREE Wi-Fi - NOPE :( 7/28/2005

We occasionally visit Barnes and Nobles to read some maganize and relax. After a recent laptop purchase, we wanted to test out the Wi-Fi system. Unfortunately, we found out that B&N does not offer free Wi-Fi. In fact few places do. Oh well. PROS: Comfy place to read some magazines CONS: No free Wi-Fi. Discounts require purchasing a discount card. more

friendly bookstore 7/9/2005

I like the comfyness of this bookstore. There are people everywhere reading books and magazines. Sometimes with a Starbucks in hand. One could probably read a book or magazine in one sitting and not be bothered by store associates. However, if you need help, they are there and are willing to order the book if they do not have it in stock. They do havea discount card program, but you have to buy the card. more

Just your Average Barnes and Noble 7/3/2005

If you've visited one, then this is no different. Large selection of books in all genres. The staff is well-trained...it's hard to tell the rookies from the veterns and their coffee is top-notch, if a bit expensive. PROS: Hey, it's Barnes and Noble CONS: Overpriced coffee drinks. more
