For 33 years, Balian Eye Center has been serving Southeast Michigan with both total eye care outpatient services as well as surgical and clinical care all under one roof. We were established in 1981 as the very first freestanding surgical outpatient facility dedicated specifically to eye surgery ever established in the state of Michigan. Balian Eye Center has a long history of making our patient's eye care experience as seamless and convenient as possible. Our founder, John V. Balian, M.D., was a trailblazer in the industry, revolutionizing the concept of bringing outpatient ambulatory surgery into a relaxed, friendly environment.
