Great bagels but avoid on Sunday mornings 1/17/2006

Bagel Boss started as a tiny little bagel shop. It now has six times the space. Not only do they offer great bagels, but they offer soups, all types of salads, tuna, and have a bakery - with linzer tarts, Krispy Kreme donuts, cookies, cupcakes, etc....If you want bagels on Sunday morning be prepared to wait quite a while - with the rest of Plainview and Syosset. more

Good Bagels, but Dirty Restaurant 8/10/2005

Bagel Boss is located in a small shopping center. The store itself is rather large and has a large area for sit in meals. The bagels and coffee are very good, with a wide selection in both. The one problem is that the store is very dirty despite the cleaning that takes place often. The appearance of the store isn't very good and during humid days, flies are often seen flying around. The counters where the food is prepared is also dirty, although the employees wear gloves. If you don't mind the slightly dirty appearance, you'll want to come back again and again for these delicious bagels! more
