This week I had a 90 min. massage by Angela. She is exceptional !! I can say that because I have Fibromaglia for the 18 yrs and I have had tons of massages since diagnosis. Angela is very knowledgable of Fibromaglia and just the body in general. I've been getting monthly massages from Angela for about 1.5 yrs. I bought a membership, which is a great deal. I get a reduced rate and they get a guarantee customer every month. It's a win-win. I also had a Microderm Abrasion from Marlo. She too is very knowledgable and professional. I just love being in the spa. It's so relaxing..I always look forward to my appts. more

Derma sweep is a very relaxing experience. It is much like a facial except the skin is really exfoliated and feels so smooth afterward. The machine feels like a fine sand paper softly rubbing over your skin. A serum of choice (ie, vitamin c) is then infused into your skin, followed by a mask, moisturizer, and sunscreen. My skin felt tighter and brighter imediately after. more

I purchased a package of Fotofacials and Dermasweep treatments. I had my first Dermasweep on Monday 12-19. Kira did not provide the level of service that I have come to enjoy at Aventine. I have a couple of Dermasweep treatments left, however, I would like to see another Aesthetician. BTW Analyn is fantastic and has always done a superior job, I guess that is why I was so disappointed with Kira. Kira was not pleasant and very dry, i.e. she seemed irritated that I asked to put on a gown, as I had on a very bulky winter sweater. She told me that with the Dermasweep treatments clients just lay on the table. I had to ask her questions throughout the treatment, it seems to me as a new client she would explain the procedure. I would not recommend her. Not happy at all:-( BTW I was referred by a colleague who I trust without question and that is why I travel from San Leandro to have me treatments there. more

This was my first experience at Aventine. My friend treated me to a full body massage. It was a wonderful experience. The spa is a beautiful and relaxing setting, very clean, quiet and serene. the massage as just right and so relaxing. I will definately be coming back! more
