Supposed to close soon 12/29/2005

Austintown movies has been on the news alot recently. They have announced that they are planning on closing soon, which is a shame. They were a great place to go to see independent films. If they close the closest place to go now to watch many of the independent films will be Cleveland or Pittsburgh. I really hope something changes and they can stay open! more

Check it out next time you are in the area. It is becoming one of my favorite theaters to visit when I get a chance. Call to see what they are showing ahead of time. more

Youngstown's only indie movie theater 8/20/2005

Austintown Movies is a blessing for the Youngstown area. The theater changed its format a few years ago and is showing mostly independent and art-house movies, and is the only place in the Youngstown area to see anything different from the typical chain cinema offerings. This is something the area really needed, and I think it benefits greatly. Try something different from the multiplex, and head to Austintown Movies! more
