What should have been an easy two day repair turned into a 2 week nightmare. I took the shoe to 183 in Cedar Park, but it really isn't important, they all send them to a factory where a bunch of idiots sit trying to fix our shoes!
The first time the shoe came back, it was not repaired- they couldn't figure out how to fix it, even though the left side was still functional and they could copy it! The worst part was that the manager (Terri) said "this isn't the first time these guys messed up on a shoe like this". Why would you tell a customer that? She then told me she'd put a rush on it and have it there on Monday. I asked for a discount for the inconvenience, but she said no! Come on, a 10% discount would have been 80 cents and made me happy about the current situation, but no. I came back on Monday and the shoe was not there, the manager's excuse was that she had no control after it left her store.
My question is why did she promise to put a rush on it when she has no authority to do so?
I didn't even bother to come back on Tuesday, even though she promised it would be there. Instead I came on Friday, knowing that my shoe MUST be there by then. Nope, wrong again. Apparently, the monkeys at the factory couldn't understand why she had sent it back- they still didn't know how to fix it (the lace should be sewn into the loop). It was then placed on the owner's desk for clarification. As a manager, she should not have told the customer this information- and believe me, I asked her if they had monkeys working there.
I tried to contact the owner Carrol Kelly, left him two messages, telling him that I am very upset, etc. and asked him to call me. Four days have gone by and he has not bothered to contact me.
I did pick up my shoe today, and I wasn't charged. The manager tried to give me discount coupons but I said "no thanks, I will never come back to this place, ever"
Pros: none
Cons: the worst service I have received anywhere
