THis job is an over glamorized name for housing inspector. The only problem is the guy holding the position wouldn't know how to inspect a dog house much less be able to understand building codes, rental housing regulations, or had any kind of qualifications for the job. Makes a very high salary, way over his qualification level. When he is not driving his tax payer paid for city car for his personal errands he is using his city cell phone to make personal calls. So much so that the city has had to bring it to the city managers attention that the city will not be paying for these phone bills anymore. He also is currently being tried for a felony crime. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, he drove his city car while his license was suspended for drinking and driving!!!\r

now you may ask yourself, ""how is it that he can keep his job?"" His grandmother gave the city manager a lot of money for his campaign financing during the last election.\r

The same city manager that said during the election that he wanted to clean up the city and break up the good old boy network. He did, He started his own good ole boy network! Where is the accountability? The local paper is not interested in this story. For some reason, they seem to think that this guy is the second coming f Christ by the way they write about him. Oh well, welcome to Ashtabula. Also feel free to check out the website that the city manager established during the campaign. You will see documented proof of the promises that he made and how he has lacked the follow through of doing what he said he would and making the city worse. Jason Strong is the prime example of how he lacks ethics!!!
