I'm in LOVE 12/6/2011

I read all of the reviews about Arvasi and decided to go anyway, I have every intention of going back. Maybe some of the people who had bad experiences 2 years ago should go back as well...it appears that those employed there like their jobs and want to make it a great experience for clients. I have now had both Spa services and Medical services and everyone has been wonderful. I love this place! more

Bronzed Beauty!! 10/31/2011

Last week I stood up in my best friend's wedding as the maid of honor and I was very conscious about how my summer glow had worn off! I went to Arvasi and got a spray tan done by Leiane and it was beautiful! She made me feel very comfortable during the process and we enjoyed lots of fun laughs too! I thank her for her kindness and warm personality. I absolutely loved the way I looked in my dress and felt wonderful all weekend long celebrating! I would highly recommend Arvasi if you are looking for a great, safe tan this winter!! more

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!! 8/18/2011

I wanted to share my wonderful experience at Arvasi Life Spa!! I have experienced both the spa side and the medical side and would highly recommend it! I have enjoyed pampering from their nails to a massage and have alwaya enjoyed their atmosphere, staff, refreshments, and special touches. Teresa is spectacular and so is Nicole! I always receive a card with recommendations from the provider and a nice helpful concierge to check me out and asnwer any other qustions I have. Last week I experienced my first appt on the medical side and it began with a free consultation with the nurse. She had an assistant in the consult with me, and I appreciated the proessionalism and privacy with my consult. I felt the nurse was very helpful and understanding and I got all my questions and concerns addressed. I did get my medical treatment I was looking into and have loved my results!! Overall, they have me as a customer for life! I feel like they are very genuine with their help, offer great options, and it is my place to escape and have some much needed ""me"" time! Arvasi is a superior experience and I truly tell everyone to go there and find out for themselves what a great job they do! THANK YOU ARVASI! more

A little piece of Heaven in Kenosha!! 8/9/2011

I just moved to Kenosha about a year ago and was looking for a spa- preferably a medical spa. I moved from a big city and had the luxury of experiencing high end treatments and exquisite service. I was invited by a friend to attend an event at Arvasi and was so happy I did!! I absolutely fell in love with this spa! I am able to receive my medical treatments as well as enjoy my spa services and walk out completely renewed! Aside from my medical treatments, I can come and enjoy their relaxation lounge and special services whenever I need! It helps so much with my daily stress and overall well-being. Thank you to Arvasi spa for such wonderful services and events! I look forward to my next visit! I like to call this place, my little piece of heaven... who knew it could be right here in Kenosha!! Thank you again! more

What a great place to get spoiled 7/1/2011

I got a manicure by Teresa and I am amazed how nice my nails look and feel. I had very damaged nails and Teresa really pampered them. Such a difference in the service I received compare to the regular nail places I used to go. Great experience from check in to check out. Thumbs up!\r \r more

The best place in Kenosha to just get away..... 8/10/2010

I just LOVE Arvasi! I have been to arvasi probably a dozen or so times for massages. I am so thankful for a spa like this so close to home! When I need a day or even just a couple hours to get away from my everyday stresses, I always go to Arvasi for a wonderful hour massage. The ambiance there is just so relaxing and the relaxation lounge lets me take some time to unwind before my massage. I have had different therapists and the ones I have had so far were just simply amazing and so gifted! The entire staff in fact is very friendly and just seem to always want to go out of their way to make me feel important. I have recommended Arvasi to all my friends and coworkers and the ones who have gone have said they love it, too! more

Very Professional & Clean 12/30/2009

I have only been there a few times and have never had any problems, they have a professional staff and always polite. Price is a issue but they are no more expensive then any other facility. I have only had spa's, pedicure's & manicures and have been very satisfied. I have owned a business for over 30years and I feel these negative comments are very damaging, they should give the Spa a change to correct any problems or they should sign there names, I'm sure you would find out that most of those comments are to bring in more business to there own unprofessional spa's and they probably have never been to this one. Kathy Rader Pros: Freindly & Professional Cons: Price more

Bad news! 5/3/2009

The office overall was okay... but the service was not great. The employees seem really unhappy, I feel bad for them. The prices are OUTRAGEOUS and the services are pretty bare-bones and quick. I have found much better spas in the area that I will take my business to. Pros: Attractive office Cons: Bad service more

Best Spa Experience ever- Wow! 3/19/2009

\r I am surprised by the negative comments about this spa. I was there for the 1st time last week, and found it to be one of the best spa experiences that I've ever had. I note that most of the other reviews are referring to the doctors; I went in for a massage, so there were no doctors involved. But in terms of the people working there, both at the front desk and the practitioners, I found them all to be professional, friendly, outgoing, & most important, skilled!\r \r I felt totally pampered by this experience. Once you get into the back area, there is a short orientation by staff. First stop- a changing room with locker for possessions. I was given a plush robe & slippers and then led into the relaxation room for a 15 minute foot bath, soft music, overstuffed chair, fire place, and fountain. Snacks were available for all, and went above and beyond- gourmet tea, water with lemon, almonds, cranberries, gourmet crackers. My massage therapist was Shelbie. She took me back to the private room with heated table, and we discussed the areas that I wanted to have her focus on. Then came an hours worth of luxurious massage. She was amazing! When we were done, she let me back to the relaxation room and invited me to stay as long as I needed or wanted. \r \r Finally it was back to the preparation room where showers were available, complementary lotions, lip scrub, and other products, as well as hair dryer, etc. All told, I spent about 2 1/2 hours of truly relaxing time at Arvasi, and I will definately be back. In fact, I scheduled another massage for two months down the line before I left. Bonus: there is a Famous Dave's across the street! Since I came in from Milw. I was ready to eat after the spa.\r \r Now, it could be that the medical side of the place is as the other reviewers wrote, but when I informed the staff of the neg. reviews, they were already aware of them, saying they suspect former employee with sour grapes. Don't let that stop you from going! It was truly wonderful! Pros: Free foot bath and relaxation room! more

Turned off! 3/4/2009

Maybe the last comment was from an employee or owner of the spa. I did not like the medical team one bit! The doctor was rude and tried to figure out my income, my husband's income, and if I was worth her time. I was so turned off by these people, I will never return. more

Far Beyond Expectations 2/28/2009

After reading the other reviews, I was very hesitant to even try this spa. I am SO GLAD I went! My mom and I had the ""SPA CARD"", a promotional card that gives you a good deal on massages in the Milwaukee area. I try to visit a spa for a massage about five or six times a year (with or without the SPA CARD). When I read the reviews I thought Arvasi might give us a hard time about using them since they had been described as stuck up. Just the opposite. We were treated very well. Customer service was exceptional and we felt very welcome even with a discount card. The atmosphere is tranquil and comfortable. The ""relaxation area"" had almonds, tea and other small snacks, which was great since we were there pretty early in the morning. The massage therapist was a professional and made me feel totally good about myself. The massage table and sheets were clean, dry, soft and comfortable and the massage room was warm. The locker room had products to use, seating and a more private area with a curtain where the lockers are. I can sort of see how the locker room had been described as ""open"", but I think they rectified that, because now there are even heavy curtains over the doors so even if someone were to come in, privacy is maintained. The shower had great water pressure, although it wasn't the fancy kind of shower with mulitple shower heads and steam etc. that you sometimes find at spas. I found the personnel to be warm and attentive. I wasn't interested in purchasing any products and no one pressured me about it. The massage therapist gave me a card of what she would recommend for me in the future, which I actually found helpful and a few weeks later I received a personal follow-up note. I often feel as though customer service is a lost art, but my confidence is a little renewed with my experience at Arvasi. I would highly recommend this spa and will definitley return. ..maybe even without my discount card :) Pros: Massage, Customer Service more

Did not like! 2/28/2009

Did not like this place. Everyone that works here seems either depressed or cruel. The prices are way too much for the services. Lot's of bad energy. And . . . my bedding was very cold and damp. Kinda like the spa i guess. more

Don't go here! 2/11/2009

I agree with the last comment! Is this spa paying a fee to be on this website? I've been a spa-goer since my teens. By far, this has been the worst spa I've ever been to! You are judged by the second you walk through those glass doors! I had a skin consultation with the younger doctor. She was so cold and rude I decided not to book an appointment. As I was walking out the door, one office girl was yelling at someone over the phone. Others gave me dirty looks for not dropping $3,000 on services performed by an incompetent doctor. They seem to be fake until they know you will not drop a dime. Guessing they must get a cut. In this recession, go to a spa where you are appreciated. This is definitely not the one! more

Wish I would have read these reviews earlier! 12/8/2008

New to the area - this salon was nearby. Surely noticed this place has lots of angry energy from the second I walked through the doors. The doctor I met with was rude and pretentious! Hated the changing area! Sat in room with fireplace which was nice . . . . until I heard a big mouth b*&&^ing on the other side of the door. This place is not worth the cash I dished out. My facial was ok, but did nothing for my complexion. The massage was a bit better. I would not recommend the botox or any other enhancement service at this place. Met a few ladies at luncheon who avoid this place at all costs. Wish I knew!!!!! more

I will never return! 11/5/2008

I needed a full day at the salon after giving birth and getting master's degree. Could not help but notice the receptionists (or whoever they were) making fun of me behind my back during check-in. Must be used to it. I'm a little overweight (baby!) and have a speech problem due to being deaf in my left ear. A doctor in the reception area was also very rude. I smiled at her a few times when she was looking at me, but just stuck her chin up in the air and gave me a snooty look. Wow! Wish I would have just walked out! The appointments were just ok. I did not feel relaxed or look any better. I will never return to this salon. Pros: The spa looks very nice. Cons: Too much negative energy. more

Not that great. 10/10/2008

As a response to the prior review . . . . . . Yes, the changing room situation is very uncomfortable and just strange! My massage was just fine, but nothing out of the ordinary. I had a consult for skin tightning and felt the doctor was pulling things out of her you know what. I'm an RN with 20 years experience in the medical field. I also did not like how she refused to discuss prices with me. That was left to one of her assistants who looked like she just got done balling her eyes out. Not the worst place in the world, certainly not the best. Pros: Ambience Cons: Price for massage and medical facials way above going rate. more

World Class? 9/2/2008

This spa claims to be ""World Class"", whatever that means. I didn't experience anything that great. The changing room was wide open and full of mirrors, with employees and patrons peeking in. A little creepy. My robe was damp, as were my sheets. Before my spa day I got a cold footbath with dead fruit flies floating in it. I didn't look or feel any better by the end of the day. The employees in street clothes were ticked about something. This spa is too expensive for the area. I live a few minutes away but will take my business to other salons. Pros: Nice looking spa. Cons: Too expensive for lack of quality. more

What a waste of money! 5/8/2008

Front desk ladies were fighting when I arrived! Facial was painful and made me break out. The place gave me bad vibes! Pros: Parking. Beautiful sitting room. Cons: Price. Did not care for esthetcan. Not relaxing. Bad results. more
