We love your restaurant but I don't see why you will not let us use more than one Groupon per table when we will have many separate checks. About 15 of us want to attend for three...

We love your restaurant but I don't see why you will not let us use more than one Groupon per table when we will have many separate checks. About 15 of us want to attend for three upcoming birthdays but we might have to go somewhere else. I mean if we were to come at different times, different days or at separate tables you are still going to end up giving the same discount. So why restrict it? Then there is the other possibility of being combined with another group and them having a Groupon. Who gets to use it then? You go in there thinking you are going to get a great meal at a great price but have to fight over it??? Come on, give us a break - bad policy. Change it. more

Yes, they're pricey for the good stuff- like my favorite with filet mignon + lobster tail, but it's WORTH IT!!! The chef is always very entertaining! Americans typically eat too fast + don't talk much. Not when you eat here! It's broken down into small groups + the chef involves everyone at the table. Also, if not enough in your party- you'll be seated with others- but I've always had the best dining experiences there! If you have leftovers- no styrofoam box- they wrap it in foil and can make anything from a swan to a ninja! Go, see, ENJOY!! :) more

Watch out for the cost!!!! 12/5/2009

One free birthday meal, two chicken and steak meals, a small birthday cake, and 3 sodas oh and an alcoholic drink that I didn't order, for $94.00!!!! I personally would have enjoyed Burger King better! Oh and I want to mention the cook who insulted a member of our party by acting like he was gay and coming on to them??? Insulting! Don't waste your money. You can go pay 20 dollars and get food that's tastier, not get insulted, oh and not pay for something you didn't order!!! Cons: Gratuity added @ 18% more

Great food, service and atmosphere 10/16/2009

Just walking through the door is like vacationing in another country. The dress is authentic as well as the mood and music. You are made to feel special and appreciated as a customer. All staff are polite and efficient, anticipating your needs. I never much cared for Japanese food and always left hungry because of small portions. At Arigato's, prepare to ask for a take home container and be amazed at the beautiful packaging for just a ""doggie bag"". I have been coming to the Arigatos in Clearwater for more than 10 years. The quality of food is unmatched by any other Japanese restaraunt. It is my absolute favorite place to dine in the Tampa Bay Area. Pros: hibachi grill more

At Arigato Japanese Steak House, the food is excellent, the service is exceptional, and the meals are reasonably priced considering the overall experience and the portions. The dipping sauces, salad dressing, and Japanese Egg Rolls are incredible!\r \r The hot towels handed out to customers before the meal are a nice concept, the Miso soup is next and absolutely delicious. The salad is crisp with fresh tomatoes and cucumbers and the ginger dressing is the best I’ve ever had! I usually order the Shogun or Sumo for dinner and my wife loves the Chicken Arigato. We dine at this fine restaurant at least 6 times a year…and we’ve NEVER had a bad meal or a disappointing experience! \r Pros: Dipping sauces, salad dressing, and Japanese Egg Rolls! Best restaurant for all occasions 10/13/2009

Fund dining for family and friends. The waiters are experts at designing unique take home containers from foil: flowers, animals, swordsman etc. Birthday cake was better than expected. Now the yummie and goodie sause is available to take home and enjoy. Bosco Pros: Chiefs provide great show. more

Arigato Japanese Steak House St.Pete Food and service is good but WAY overpriced. Restaurant is dirty 12/26/2008

The food is great but extremely over priced! The average meal is around $20... that's for rice veggies and chicken. They offered a free $20 gift certificate with the purchase of a $100 in gift certificates, catch is the special $20 gift card can't be used with any other coupons or the regular gift certificates I paid cash for! If the $100 in gift certificates are like cash they why can't they be used. They don't post that on the sign or tell you that when you purchase it. You have to read the gift certificates after they've already been paid for. The staff is friendly but the management is not. The walls are dirty and disgusting. If they turned the lights up brighter I doubt anyone would ever eat there. They also offer a frequent diners club where you earn points towards gift certificates but twice now my points haven't been credited. The economy is doing terrible and this place is jacking up prices and ripping people off. Pros: food is great and chefs are great Cons: overpriced, dirty restaurant, rude management more

We, a family of 4, went to dinner bringing the coupon that says 2 dinners for $19.99. We ordered dinners that costs between 19.99 and 25.99. We also waited in the bar, spending about $50, to be seated after 8:15 p.m.. It was time specified by the coupon. The restaurant did not honor the coupon because we didn't order 2 dinners of $19.99 of chicken terriyaki. The manager was afraid to make a decision to honor the coupon because the owners would take it out of his paycheck, as they have done once before. This restaurant has lost us as future customers and we are telling people the owners does not know how to run a customer-friendly restaurant. more

Large portions & great service 9/14/2007

I take my daughters there on each of their birthdays every year. The food is excellent, the portions are large, and the service is great. The cooks are personable and well trained and put on a great show. But the building is old and dingy, almost dirty looking, and they can run out of parking on very busy nights. They have a Rewards Club now for frequent diners. A fun place to dine. They also have an elevator to the second floor if the street level fills up. They also have a bar area while you wait. Pros: Great food and large portions, excellent service Cons: Dingy and old inside, limited parking more
