good hair cuts, good conversation 6/7/2018

This place is open Wednesday and Thursday 9am to 3pm. The barber is a retired guy who has been cutting hair and trimming beards most of his life. He is skilled at his craft and takes his time and does what you ask. Young or old you will be happy with your cut. The barber is a good decent man who will engage you in conversation and make the whole experience more interesting. You need to check this place out, it is a part of the history of south bend. more

Not the friendliest 12/15/2005

we went to this place in search of a new barber ... i guess he could have been having a bad day ... but the barber wasn't the most pleasant guy ... he was actually pretty rude to us and I know we will never go back .. it's a nice little neighborhood barbershop, very convenient and reasonably priced ... you'll just have to make sure you catch the barber on a good day! I must add ... that he seemed very nice to his "regulars" ... maybe he thought we were out-of-towners or something .... more
