This restaurant has changed ownership and is now called "Amy's Diner". Don't miss the opportunity to eat at this meat and three. Some of the BEST country cooking I have ever eaten. Serving Meatloaf, Mama's Fried Chicken, Baked Chicken, Salmon Patties and the BEST catfish EVER!! Make sure to experience the breakfast. You will NOT regret it. GREAT SERVICE, DELICIOUS FOOD. WOW !!! I walked into Amy's Diner (formerly Old Hickory Rest)..Pleasantly surprised. Attractive staff with outstanding service and personality waited on me during my visit. When my food arrived promptly, i was astounded at the portions that I received. Not to mention the flavor of each bite of food that I tasted. I could not believe that i could find a restaurant that cooked like my grandmother use to cook when i was a child. On a second visit, I was as pleased as i was on my first visit. They offer such a wide selection of meats and veggies that i couldn't make up my mind as what to eat. Fresh salads, and homemade soups that attracted me from eating my normal meat and vegs....and the BURGERS....ARE TO DIE FOR.!!
