The area is not the best, but it is certainly not as bad as some make it out to be. The location is close to the airport, but not too close. There is a residential area right behind, all middle-class homes.
The good: For the price, the accommodations were much better than expected. The bed was comfortable, there were lots of fluffy pillows on the bed, the fridge and microwave were clean and in good working order, and everything worked from the coffee maker to the TV. Parking is free and plentiful, unlike the $35 a day at some hotels.
The bad: I was taking a shower, and got a phone call from the front desk, the lady screaming at me that I was letting the bathtub overflow. Uh..no. If there is a plumbing issue, move me to another room, but don't yell at me when you don't know what you are talking about. Of course, no other rooms are available, so I had to make my showers short , which rather annoyed me. Also, in the ""Business Center"", there was no printer for me to print my airline boarding pass, and the ""free"" wi-fi was locked.
Am I likely to stay here again? Possibly, but certainly not a given.
