WHAT A JOKE! 10/31/2011

During the week of October 23rd I received a flyer in the mail regarding a Mazda, Mazda 6 buy back program stating ""We would like to restock our preowned inventory and need your 2005 Mazda 6. FOR THIS EVENT ONLY, our acquisitions department at Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Franklin is preparing to offer you a trade-in value of up to $3,500 ABOVE THE REGIONAL MARKET VALUE stated by black book, a leading source of national vehicle values."" Underneath it listed ""Offer for your 2005 Mazda 6 is $11,890"". This event lasted 4 days from October 27th-30th. I visited them on Saturday, October 29th, 2011 to trade in my car for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. At that time they informed me it was getting serviced and I could not drive the car until Monday. They told me they would offer $8,550 for my Mazda 6. At that time I showed them the $3,500 trade in voucher and the manager, Tom Murray said he would honor it on Monday when the service department came back and I could drive the car. This would mean that my car was worth $12,050 for this special long weekend buy back event. Today, October 31, 2011, they called me after they had finished cleaning up the car and finally had access to the keys and told me they were listing the car for $10,995 with ""wiggle room"". I told them we had a deal as long as it drove okay. I made sure they were still honoring the voucher and we were on the same page and I was told yes. And, of course it would be, since it is in writing on their flyer. They would owe me a difference of $1,055. After I drove the car and handed them my $3,500 voucher, the manager Tom Murray would not honor it and on top of that raised the car I was wanting to trade in for's price to $12,000. He stated he would not honor my voucher that was clearly spelled out and it was a non-negotiable trade assistance voucher for $3,500. It was a complete bait and switch, full of lies and deceiving. The flyer stated they would buy my car for $11,890 and if it was in excellent condition it would be more, hence the $12,050 for my car. This was an advertisement to buy back Mazda more

BEWARE of SERVICE DEPARTMENT 8/26/2010

Two weeks after I purchased a $40k NEW 2010 Jeep Commander from Franklin Alexander Dodge Chrysler & Jeep their SERVICE DEPARTMENT ruined it for me. While trying to replace the sunroof motor that went out in the vehicle they single handedly ruined the headliner in the car with scratches, greasy hand prints and a broken piece of trim (broken in 8 places). The Trim literally holds the headliner up to the Sunroof. They tried to pass this off as good quality work and thought that I would never notice these things. I had to demand they replace the headliner and trim. It took months for the parts to come in. After tearing out my headliner they discovered they ordered the wrong replacement headliner. They still have my car (8/26/10) and no ETA on when it will be ready. They have SPOILED my new car and the experience of having my first ever new car that I worked so hard to get. more

Great customer service. 12/8/2006

I have gone to this dealership for one thing or another for years.Their service center is top rate & I trust them,I don't trust most people with my jeep.I live in west Nashville and I drive about 20 miles to get there.I know their are lots of places to get your suv fixed that are closer, even one or two other jeep dealerships and they all maybe just fine.I have not delt with them I have however delt with Harpeth in franklin, and so long as the service stays the same I'll keep going to them. Pros: Service is best in middle TN. Cons: When I find some cons I'll let you know . more
