Alegra closed down becasue the owner leisa davais did not pay the rent or her employes. So for all the gift cards that are out there you out of luck because she does not care. She rips off everyone she comes in contact with watch out for her. more

Oh my! My husband got me a day spa certificate and I went online today to look up their site to make an appointment. After seeing the reviews I am hesitant. The number of positive reviews on their service talent etal is minimal to say the least. I appreciate everyones feedback good or bad.. in the end it will help me make the right decision. more

My Stylist, Katie, was a delight and I am quite pleased with her. The salon is lovely but ""Miss Cranky Pants"", the woman who I assume is the owner/manager, ""takes the wind out of this places sails."" Unfortunate. I will go back as long as Katie is there but one has to wonder how someone could enjoy that type of negative eneregy. (Hope I spelled her name correctly.) Good customer service is #1 in this industry, and this spa/salon just didn't show it to me. A very gossipy environment - not professional. Receptionist (big, blonde) was very rude to whomever she was speaking to on the phone. I was stunned. I received a personal waxing service here and the first thing I look for when trying out a new waxer is SANITATION. I have been waxed alot, some girls re-dip their stick in the wax after it has touched my privates, some girls don't. I prefer to go to a girl who does NOT re-dip. Gross. Go ahead and google this topic. many mixed reviews. But wouldn't you rather go to someone who wants to play it safe, and sanitary? Its just respectful. Hey all. I just love my red hair! I have had so many compliments since I had it done here, It?s starting to make me feel like it must have looked pretty bad before. I had the hardest time getting a natural red head color. I had tried 5 hair salons in Portland before I found this gem salon. Now, I don?t need to say which salons, cause, after all I know they did their best, they just don?t have the experience that this salon does. The team work was also amazing, no stuck up attitude, just friendly people doing wonderful work. Thank you much! I just love it! Pros: They work as a team and Love what they do more

Such a dissapointing experience. Complete lack of customer service. i will never go here again and I strongly suggest the same for anyone else, unless you like to be ignored and have to listen to employees gossip about work. The atmosphere was not at all relaxing and I felt like I was just rushed through without a second thought to my experience or any concern for my wants. DO NOT GO HERE EVER more

I'm not the only one who has had a bad experience with this Day Spa...My sister was looking for a place to get her hair done and she also commented on how un-proffesional it was for how much $$$ they charge. The lady at the front was very rude and talking on the phone when she should have been helping me. Just because the services they offer are expensive doesn't mean you will be getting your moneys worth. I will definatly be telling friends/family to stay away from this place. You will probably get the same service going to ""Perfect Look"" and be getting friendlier service for half the price. Don't make the mistake I did by going here if you want to be treated rather rudely.\r All the reviews that claim to be the best spa around are probably written to drum up biz by the owner. I even heard some of the gals talking about her behind her back,Nice!! I guess some of the employees are treated the same way as the customers. Take my advice,find somewhere else to go!!! K I have heard of bad dreams but this place was a nightmare, very unprofesional, first of all you walk in to the place and at first glance looks nice until I was greeted, by two blonde ladies who seemed it was more important to talk and finish up a conversation than to look at me and say hello I will be rite with you, they finally finished up conversation 3 minutes later and got me ready for my pedicure, that when it all started the gal that did my hands was very snotty and stuck up i felt she did a half job and was not friendly at all, there was alot of gossip going on between employees, lots of stops in between the service very sloppy work she did nothing to my cuticals, the manager and owners were very rude when answering the phones I felt they treated their employee who does hair patricia like a kid I felt like I was in a day care \r \r when I went to pay the big blonde lady was very rude, I did not tip jennifer who did my nails and will never come back again I can see why the place is soooo emty very ery dissapointed when I pay for a service i expect to get treated great I felt tense and could not relax I will not come back and not recomend it to anybody Pros: nothing Cons: everything more

I have been getting massages for years, but have never had a ""spa massage"" experience. WOW! You definitely get what you pay for. For the moment I walked in, my experience was very calm and relaxing. The entire staff was very nice and accommodating. The massage was amazing, with a ""put you to sleep"" scalp massage afterwards. I will go back to Alegra time and time again, and definitely recommend to everyone I know. Pros: Ambience, Staff, Products, Location Cons: some times hard to get into more

I've never met someone that understands hair better than Patrcia. She's definitely an artist. I trust her 110% with my hair, it always looks remarkably fabulous. She makes each cut/color personal and original and is always creative and inventive...never quite the same as the last. I made the mistake of dropping into a salon that neither I nor anybody else I know had been. The stylist ruined my hair. My hair was yellow and fried! I had the highlight gone bad, very bad. I hadn't colored my hair in years and it was healthy and below my shoulders. I was devastated. A girlfriend of mine referred me to her hairstylist, Patricia. Patricia saved my hair. She gave me a new style that was fun, easy to fix, and flattered my features. When I left Alegra I felt sassy...better than my old self. The staff at Alegra is always friendly and welcoming. I have always been happy with the services I receive from the spa to rescuing hair gone bad! I highly recommend Alegra and Patricia. I hadn't had a hair cut or style in a long time. I saw Katie. She was great. really listened to what I was looking for and delievered an amazing cut and style. Which can be difficult for some, because my hair is curly. My friends raved about it when they saw me. Katie is talented, friendly and comforting. I highly recommend her. I could really tell she loves what she does and where she works. The next week I tried them for a massage. All I can say is WOW. Best massage I have ever had! She was very intuitive, caring and has magical hands. Her style was unique. I do a lot of computer stuff and have chronic shoulder pain. She did deep tissue that really loosened me up without causing me discomfort during or after. I actually fell asleep at one point. You have to try there massage therapist! Check this place out ! Being a new mom,a student, and working a part-time job, being sleep deprived will definitely catch up with you! I've finally found a place where I can have some time to myself and think and do nothing and just relax! My husband gave me a gift certificate for Valentines Day and I finally had a chance to use this much needed gift. When I called to make my appointments the women were very friendly and informative, and took the time to explain the different treaments and which ones would be good for me. The staff was extremely freindly and made me feel totally welcome and comfortable. The therapists were great and very proffesional! This is the first time ever that I can sleep on my hair and wake up with it looking great- now that's a great haircut! And...there is literally not a day that goes by that someone doesn't stop me on the street and compliment me on the cut and color. I wish I had a dollar for everytime that happened! I can't say enough good things about Chrissy- she's personable, talented and CONSISTENTLY gives you a good cut. I had the most amazing peppermint pedicure by Jennifer! You can tell that she loves her job. The room is quaint and peaceful, I felt like I was in a different world. What more could you ask for?! Friendly and sincere staff upon booking appts, getting directions, checking in and leaving. Stellar experience! I will definitely go back to have a massage and facial. I cannot wait to take my best friend and sisters! The spa is modern, tranquil and in a beautiful location. I went into the salon today to get my hair colored with Katie and she did a great job. I was feeling like my color was really dull and lifeless and I wanted to go closer to my natural color but with some life still in it. Katie did such a great job! I have this great rich brown now with amazingly sutly highlights and lowlights, it was exactly what I was looking for! I definatly will recomend this salon to all my friends.
