Alans Factory Outlet

Spent my time going through the entire process of building my building online and then they put it together wrong and refused to fix it properly. Installer lied about our conversation , and Alan’s factory outlet can care less about your building . I would not recommend this supplier to anyone. more

I brought 3 sheds, two dog kennels and 2 chicken coops from Alan's Factory Outlet in July, 2011. Never had a problem with my order and all items were delivered within a good time after they were sent down from the builders. I will deal with his business again. more

On May 9, 2011 I went in to order a new shed. I met with Kim. I told Kim I wanted a vinyl sided shed with a ramp. She ordered me a WOODEN shed with NO ramp. The contract stated 4-6 weeks. It was delivered 9 weeks later. That was when I found out it was not a vinyl sided shed but a wooden shed. The delivery driver tore my back yard to shreds and needed to call a tow truck to get him out. It was to be assembled on site so I spent the extra $750 to have it done there. They used broken blocks to prop it up and within 2 days one of the doors would not open correctly. They offered no assistance for fixing the problem. In fact they blamed me! They said I should have made sure that Kim had actually written what she was supposed to! I ended up spending my own money to stabilize the shed. There are 1/4" gaps between the floor boards. As far as the lack of a ramp, they said they would have the builder send me a check since he had all the money. Hard to believe the VP of the company didn't have $106 to end this. To summarize: I spent $4000 and got a shed that was not what I wanted. My backyard is all messed up. I don't have a ramp that I payed for. My 14 x 10 ft shed was propped up on broken bricks. I am an unsatisfied customer and they really don't care. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!! THEY TRULY WILL NOT HELP WITH ANY PROBLEM YOU WILL HAVE!!!!!!! more

Bought a light house and they had the cheapest price around by far. Highly Recomended if you want to save bucks more

I bought a shed a 12x16 dutch and it has been a very good experience. I have had the shed for now near 19 years and its great it look just as new as when it was delivered very good workmanship by the amish. I have read some of the negitive comments about alans and find them haed to believee as they keep me up dated through the whole process from start to finish. You could not find a better dealership to go to. I know that Alans has been a trusted business for over 25 years. And I've purchased more than one shed there. more

I got several buildings over the years. Very Satisfied with the quality of the buildings and the service provided. I recommend this company if you need a building. more

On June 20, 2009 my wife and I traveled out to Alan's Factory Outlet in Hughesville, MD and purchased a 10'x14' Dutch Barn shed from Alan (I believe the owner) and put down a 50% deposit on our credit card. We were told at the time that business had been slow and that we would be able to get our shed with in 3 weeks from that date. The invoice in fact states "3 weeks or sooner". We unfortunately had the same experience as the previous reviewer in that we called and called with no answer and no response to messages. It is now 8 weeks later and we still have no shed and still no answer of when it will arrive. We finally got to talk with Ron, the vice president (so he claimed) who justified by saying that their office manager had some how done terrible harm to the business and messed up orders/payments. He promised 3 times (4 weeks after the original delivery promise) it would be delivered. Now he will not refund out deposit! BUYER BEWARE!!! more
