My usual burrito place is Calafia Taqueria on Webster St but I tried this place last night since it's on my way home. Food quality is no more than adequate but my real issue with this place is the staff. The 2 male staff leered at me as I waited for my order to be filled. The woman who took my order behaved as though she was bothered to have been interrupted from filling the salsa containers. When I received my order I apparently bothered her further by asking for some salsa, to which she responded with obvious annoyance "It's already in the bag!". My recommendation is that she be enrolled in an intensive course on customer service before being allowed to interact with the public or that she be restricted to interacting only with the salsa. more

I love the food here, I would highly recommend eating here to anyone visiting Alameda. You get lots of food for a great price. I recommend the ground beef hard taco and the beef enchilada, wonderful food. more

You get more food for your money at Alameda Taqueria than anywhere else in the Bay Area. The portions are huge and all itmes on the menu are delicious. I HIGHLY recommend carnitas hard/soft tacos. Pros: Value, Huge Portions Cons: Closed on Sunday more
