Acapulco Hotel & Resort 7/5/2009

We enjoyed our stay at the Acapulco Resort. We stayed there for 3 night on our way to Disney and we loved it. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is wonderful. Happy hour got a little loud but it was tolerable. The pool is really nice and we love Daytona Beach itself. The beach is just beautiful. \r The only bad thing is the very slow elevators. more

I have stayed here 4 times 11/29/2008

My mom and I have stayed at the Acapulco Hotel a total of four times. We like it a lot. I will tell you what I like about it.\r \r * Location: It's located on Daytona Beach Shores the quieter section of Daytona Beach. \r \r * Hotel is quiet and has a back door and side entrance that lets you return to your room discreetly ( note side and back door close after 11:00 pm. There is also a lobby bathroom which is convenient .\r \r * Lobby is very pretty. The look is tastefully upscale tropical. There is a lobby gift shop with nicely priced gifts and toiletries. There is also a bar/ cafe in the lobby that serves a decent breakfast. Front desk clerks are nice enough... Not to chatty.\r \r *Rooms are nicely decorated but feel a little cramped. I must say that the hotel has had a recent renovation so rooms are modern and fresh. If you get a efficiency room the kitchen area even has granite counters. Good times! 9/16/2002

My Girlfrind and I stayed here for a night. We were expecting a low end hotel for the price we paid. Boy were we suprised! This place is great! Right on the beach. Nice rooms with a good view. The staff was wonderful, everyone was really nice. We went out and were looking for somewhere to hang out and drink in Daytona and we were very disapointed so we went back to the hotel. We were getting on the elevator and noticed a sign for the sombrero lounge $1.00 drinks!!! Man the drinks were great and only a buck. Shirley the bartender was great. Everyone in the bar was 3 times our age and pounding drinks harder than we were. We had a really good time! I doubt I will ever go back to Daytona but if I do I know where I will stay! Pros: Value, View, Location more
