My children have been going here for many years, and although I've had my ups & downs, I would say that overall, I am very happy with this facility.
The positives: Very inviting, friendly, clean & comfortable environment. Constant daily activities & learning, outdoor play time, accepts infants as young as 6 weeks old. They provide all food, snacks, & drinks for your child. Doors to facility are locked and only the people you have listed are allowed to pick up your child. Each age group has it's own teacher so they get to know your child very well. There is no special treatment or ""spoiling"", all children are treated equally & just as they would be treated at home. Parents can do ""pop-in"" visits at any time of the day. They offer the Early Head Start Program and Pre K classes, as well as an after school program where the school bus will pick up your child from Old Forge Elementary and drop them off at Kiddie Kampus until you get out of work.
The negatives: You must pay for a full 5 day week, even if your child attends less days than that. The facility closes for almost every holiday, (even if the holiday falls on a weekend when the center would normally be closed) and for some holidays they even close for more than one day which is unfair & very inconvenient for the parents because they still have to go to work, find someone else to watch their children, and still must pay the facility for the unnecessary days that the center was closed.
Other than those few issues, I would definitely recommend this daycare center to anyone who might currently be looking for childcare. The care that your child receives is what matters most! I fully trust this center everyday when I drop my children off, I feel comfortable knowing they are in good hands.
