Abbey Carpet Of Ogden

I used Abbey Carpet of Ogden recently to install some carpeting and some tile in my home, and was quite pleased with how the work went. The workers that came out did the carpets in the downstairs area, and installed some tiles upstairs. I wasn't home but my friend let them in, and when she came back later she said the guy working downstairs had walked up through the tiles before the grout was done, leaving cracks in the grout. I wasn't pleased and called them back and they were able to come out and repair the issue and get everything back in good order. Great customer service, I would definitely use them again, and I highly recommend their services. more

We really liked how everything turned out with Abbey Carpet of Ogden. We liked the way everything looked and the overall experience after the fact was good. It was a pretty intrusive process but you know, I think that's what happens with remodels. Duane was always responsive and he works really hard and puts in 110% to please his customers. Actually, one of the things that I said to him at one point is that he needs another one of him. It's too hard to be everywhere and to pleased everyone to the extend that he wants to. So, I would say that with Abbey I was very happy but with one of their contractors I was not so happy. They were very nice people but the tile guys unfortunately did not make us a priority and I kind of understand their circumstances an they tried hard, but the end result is that I'm not 100% satisfied with their part of the work. It looks OK but it's not as good as it could be. For example, they would come for a portion of the day and then they would go to someone else, so the amount of time that it took would get longer and longer at the end. After everything I didn't want them here, even though they were nice guys. So, Duane ended up doing some of the fixing at the end that needed to be done, instead of them doing it. I know that remodeling ends up taking a long time and probably longer than everyone thinks, so I know that I need to be patient with all of that. Other than the tile, I probably would have given them a 5 for everything. That's the only downside, if the grout would have been deeper, we would have been totally satisfied. more

I was blown away by the service Abbey Carpet of Ogden provided when they did our flooring. They installed hickory floors throughout the house and it goes right up to the edge of the kitchen tile, matching perfectly with the cabinets. It really brings out the richness of the hickory coloring and is quite eye catching. The only issue (and it's not a big one) was that it was hard to locate help when we initially walked into the store. We walked around saying hello and it felt a bit awkward. However, once we did get help, it was amazing from that moment on. Kyle worked with us the most and he was great. We have been doing a lot of work and definately shopped around. Other places wanted too much and varied between 2 days and 2 months for project completion. I was shocked with the speed and efficiency Abbey Carpet of Ogden displayed throughout the entire project, but specifically the quick bidding. He came out with his laser and had the estimate done, with a quotable price, in about 15 minutes. One competitor wanted 2 days just to get the bid price back to me. Abby's technician was fast, clean, and represented the company very well. The install was amazing and extremely impressive too! The confidence and knowledge of the installer actually put me at ease. I added steps in our home that I had to make myself and other places simply said that they couldn't include them. The technician with Abbey Carpet said it was no problem at all. His confidence made me confident! The level of skill, experience, awareness, and assurance company wide is, by far, the best I have ever encountered. All that knowledge and confidence, plus, they had the best bid from the start - Hands down an amazing value in my book! I will definately use them again and highly recommend them for anyone in that market. They are the best and you won't regret it! more

Abbey Carpet's quality of customer care, attention to detail, and giving me the best deal without trying to sell an expensive carpet that I didn't need were reasons why I called Abbey Carpet a second time. They put in carpet and padding in rooms that were remodeled. The installers were awesome--they were on time, professional, and they cleaned up after themselves. We contacted Abbey Carpet of Ogden because our wooden floors had water damage. As a result the company replaced, repaired, restained, sanded, and resealed all 1000sq. ft. The floors looks better now then they did when the house was newly constructed. I am very pleased with the outcome. We hired Abbey Carpet of Ogden to install ceramic tile in our entry way, powder room, and kitchen. The installer showed up on time and did an excellent job, we're very pleased with his workmanship. The only problem is they didn't order enough tiles, so the job was delayed for a few weeks while they waited for the tile to show up. Other than that, I would recommend them based on Tom's workmanship. He is a master tile installer and we've received so many compliments on our new tile. He also helped us locate some problem areas in our home and took care of them quickly. Abbey Carpet of Ogden provides good service and workmanship at a great price. It was my first time using Abbey Carpet, but I would use them again. I installed laminates and a carpet from them. They had brought the wrong parts and took two weeks to get the right parts. They just showed up and didn't have everything to finish the job so they had to come back a second time. I think that it was the manufacturers who sent the wrong parts. But they did a good job, so I would use them again. Both the laminate and carpet went beautifully. They were very, very quick and professional. Abbey Carpet is honest, fair, and just good! This place, the "customer service" and the owners are an absolute nightmare to deal with... Their only concern is your money. My mother passed away before paying the remainder of her bill. I had every intention of paying it (along with her other bills) in full however, I asked if i could be given more time in order to set up an estate account as her bank accounts had been frozen. I gave them a copy of a death certificate as proof I wasn't trying to buffalo them. THEY IMMEDIATELY PUT A LIEN ON MY DEAD MOTHER'S HOUSE BEFORE I HAVE EVEN HAD TIME TO SET UP HER ESTATE ACCOUNT FOR A MERE $1600! Please do yourself a favor and find what you need elsewhere! more
