A Touch Of Italy

Best Italian food on long island. I love everything from their pizza, chicken rolls to their seafood salad and white clam sauce. I love it all. Even the bread they give you when you order their kitchen food is amazing. The staff is very friendly and always ask about my family to see how they are doing. The main pizza cook, Elmer I think his name is, is awesome. His slices are a perfect combination cheese, sauce and dough. When you fold the slice in half to eat it, there is no drooping down, no sauce dripping everywhere its perfect. I wouldn't change a thing except the name would become Nagano's hahaha. more

THE FOOD IS VERY GOOD, HOWEVER, THE COUNTER PEOPLE ARE RUDE AND REALLY DO NOT PAY MUCH ATTENTION TO THE CUSTOMERS. USUALLY, SINCE WE ARE SUPPORTING THEM, COUNTER HELP WILL SAY THANK YOU, BUT NOT THIS PLACE. GIVE ME THE MONEY AND GO IS THEIR ATTITUDE. A Touch Of Italy is a family owned and run Italian restaurant where all families large or small will enjoy their dinner. I am not one to judge is the name is actually true or not but I can tell you that everything is made to perfection. When you first sit down to your table the bring out what looks like a basket of Italian bread with butter that is until the basket is set on the table and you get a better look. What is in the basket are actually are these homemade square rolls (so good) that when you split open are hollow inside. I love to stuff mine with some of the salad that comes with my entrée or I will eat one or two that I have put butter in while waiting for my pizza or chicken roll. The servers there are always friendly and service is done with a smile. more
