The History of Our Store
The store is owned by Eva Donnelly. The store staff and/or class instructors are Cathy, Leslie, Patricia and Sue.
After several years as a stay-at-home mother and seamstress, Eva decided to open her own store. A few months later, after location searching, renovation and supply order, A Stitch In Time made its grand opening in April 2002. At first, only needlepoint and cross stitch supplies were sold. However, the following year knitting yarns and crocheting supplies were brought in by popular demand. In the Spring of 2005, A Stitch In Time had its second grand opening after moving down the road from PT Barnum Square to Grosso's Corner. In the Summer of 2006, A Stitch In Time stopped carrying counted cross stitch supplies.
It is very exciting when we become a headline in the local newspaper! In December 2007, A Stitch In Time was featured on the America's Knitting website.. * Knitting & Crochet Classes

Registering for Classes: You must pay in full to reserve your place on class. You may register at the store or on the phone using a credit card. To register on the phone please call us at 203-748-1002. Please purchase the materials you need for class well before the first class. You will receive a 10% discount on all materials (except needles) purchased for your classes.
Class Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds if you cancel a class,unless we are able to fill your spot. If we can fill your spot,you will get a store credit. If fewer than 3 students enroll for class,we reserve th right to cancel the class. If we cancel,a full refund will be applied.
Class Reminders:
* All classes have a maximum and minimum size,so sign up early to insure your spot.
* There are no make-up classes for classes that you miss.
* We will give you the supply list when you sign up. There is 10% off supploes (except needles) that are bought for onr of our classes.
* Most of our classes require homework to be done at home. Yes,homework!
* Please leave your friends and family home for class!
* Please be on time for class!
