A Sober Way Home advertises a program for ""Men 50 to 75"". My personal experience is that this is definitely not the case.

In Arizona, it's hard to find such a well established and supportive institution like A Sober Way Home. I introduced my friend here, and he found a way to get rid of his alcohol addiction. The treatment he received along with supportive sponsors helped him get back on his feet and his life back on track. It's been 8 months since my friend left the institution and he's clean and sober. I've been extremely grateful to A Sober Way Home ever since. more

After my father suffered a severe car accident, he became addicted to painkillers. It got to the point where if he didn't have pills he would become violent, which affected the entire family. When we found A Sober Way Home, a drug rehab center in Arizona, that's when I didn't expect to see my father's life turning around. They were able to find many supportive and friendly people to surround him with, which in result helped him to accept his mistakes and change his life. It's been 1 year since he got out, and I can honestly say he's a changed man, who has a positive outlook on life. I cannot thank A Sober Way Home enough for saving my dad's life. more

The men's treatment house is unfortunately a neighbor. They are loud with profanity and it seems like the van drivers are in treatment themselves. They are unprofessional in their driving skills, driving way over the speed limit and go up and down our road a couple dozen times a day. They are unfriendly. They have ruined our family neighborhood. They are NOT welcome in our nice neighborhood. Rehab in Prescott is nothing but a big money maker but has ruined neighborhoods. Ask yourself if you'd like this house to be ne t to yours? more

An answer to prayers! 7/14/2011

As the parent to a client of A Sober Way Home, they have truely been an answer to my prayers. When my husband & I finally ""hit our rock bottom"" and made the decision to give our child the choice of treatment or leaving the house, they reacted & within a few days our child was in Prescott. This has been & is the hardest thing we have faced, but every person we have dealt with at A Sober Way Home has been caring, professional and truely a blessing. I dont know what the future holds, but I do know my child has been given a second chance and I would recommend A Sober Way Home in a heart beat.. They also added a 2 day Family Program that I cant wait to attend.*****Attended the Family Workshop Program... It was an intense, emotional, educational and at times funny experience. Most of all it WAS NEEDED. Its another step in the recovery process of addiction for the whole family. Thank You to the entire SoberWay staff for taking the time to put on the Family Program. God bless you all!! more

Thank You Sober Way!!! 6/1/2011

What a miracle! This place is wonderful. I arrived at A Sober Way home just broken and deep in drug and alcohol addiction. My life was a wreck and all of my efforts to get ""clean and sober"" had been failures. I honestly felt like it was just something that I would never be able to do.The staff was so kind, and everyone there made me understand that I was not alone. As I began to trust, I began to learn,to grow and eventually to heal. I am still clean and sober two years later and I owe it all to my program, my higher power and Sober Way for showing me a new way to live. From the therapists to the Dr. and the office and housing staff. Everyone was so great. I highly recommend this place. They saved my life! more
