I visit Fayetteville when I leave the west coast and find these services on a par with my home spas. It's relaxing and reasonable.

So sorry to see this review site has gotten so out of control. And Tina, we are so sorry to have offended you. We were told by what we considered a very reliable source that the review was indeed written by an employee, who had written another one. We do remember your dilemma, please understand that without the gift certificate that was mailed to you, we had no proof of your payment. It's just like a gift card, anyone can use it.We wanted to refund your money, but you refused to give use your credit card number. We do have saunas, but you also refused to get the body wrap, and only saw a small portion of our "Day Spa", which I think you are confusing with a "Destination Spa'".Day Spas are smaller, more personal , destination spas are usually frequented by travelers looking for several days of luxury, usually with a hotel stay and meals. This confusion and the fact that many people still do not understand that a gift certificate is a form of payment, has been an on going problem in the "Day Spa " industry. We welcome your feedback, Tina, and your Partner's, Michelle, to help us "fix" some of these problems, and hope that in the future, all that negative energy could be used for a greater cause. more

just to set the record straight, michele r is actually my partner. we were visiting from washington dc last year around christmas. i booked my appointment over a month in advance and was told that because i was booking 3 services i had to pre-pay to reserve the appointments. this made sense, especially since it was on 12/27, very close to christmas. upon checking out from my services i was asked to present a gift certificate (which makes no sense since i bought services for MYSELF) that i was told had been mailed to me. i never received any gift certificate. i called my credit card company and confirmed that i had already been charged for the services in november, and they advised me not to repay. the salon had no record of my payment and reiterated that they sent a gift certificate, even though they had NO RECORD of either. i was shocked at the shoddy record keeping and refused to pay, as visa advised. as i left, she threatened to call the police. upon returning to washington, i took up the issue with visa, and ultimately, visa sided with me. i am FURIOUS at the way i was treated by the manager (or perhaps even owner -- i frankly have no idea who she was). the services i received were sub-standard in my opinion. the facility was not very nice, the massage ok, but not great, and my pedicure barely lasted 2 weeks. i am sure the salon CLEARLY remembers this story -- there's no way anyone could make up such an ordeal. to suggest that my partner is a disgruntled employee simply continues this salon's trend of dishonest behavior. how dare they attempt to double charge me and then call my partner a liar. also, for the record, i had these services on 12/27, the 3 year anniversary of my father's death as a treat to myself to relax on such a difficult day. the services i received were, not outstanding, and your behavior regarding my pre-payment (threatening to call the police) was absolutely disgusting and a disgrace. please do not continue to lie on this or any other website. future customers, be forewarned. this salon cannot be trusted. more

This place is on a par with big city experiences. I was so impressed by the quality of the staff and services that I return frequently. Learning to relax is vital and they know how to do it. more

the place is a dump and way overpriced. the entire experience was very disappointing. there are plenty of great day spas in syracuse -- skip this one. more
