I take back what I said about Metropolitan Trust Deed Company under AnimalLoverDude. Although Metropolitan Trust Deed did threaten to foreclose on my friend Mike's house, ultimately, they did not. Furthermore, a year later now, and my friend Mike's loan through Metropolitan Trust Deed is now coming due (its a $100k balloon payment) and they are letting Mike refinance into another loan. In the end, they turned out to be good guys.
