Businiess name:  Downtown Books Bought & Sold
Review by:  Sarah E.
Review content:
Downtown Books is a huge used bookstore in (obviously) downtown Milwaukee. Amazingly, it is usually very quiet here - bumping into another book-lover amongst the dusty tomes can be startling. Stacked from floor to ceiling, there is a lot here to see; especially if you are looking for standard fare you can usually find classic literature here. Non-fiction too, is abundant. However, you will have a more difficult time if you're looking for popular best-sellers or practically anything current. Downtown Books is also notable for their comics and (especially) their records. Although the stock doesn't change that often, if you like to "dig" you will surely find an LP or ten to add to your collection. Prices are reasonable. You will find that their records are priced inconsistently. Extremely rare and valuable LPs will be priced the same as trashy thrift store fare. However, one man's garbage is another man's gold!
