i have stayed at the good nite inn a few times because i take courses in the nearby city of granda hills but i live in oceanside a few hours away. this hotel is in a great location and perfect for my situation.
first off the price of the room is ridiculously low for being so close to los angeles. i dont think i have ever payed more than $60 for a room after sales tax. you cant beat it.
front desk/lobby/breakfast area was small but the clerk at the desk was very helpful and i enjoy grabbing a coffee and muffin and chit chatting with the morning girl. the contential breakfast is just muffins/coffee/juice, but i i know for a fact that the motel 6 next store doesnt offer that. so no complaints from me.
as far as the room, its no frills and basic. i usually ask for a room that has been renovated and a recent carpet wash and they hook it up. televisions and furniture are a little dated, but again the price is so low, i didnt expect flat screens and designer furniture. the digital air conditioner is a life saver in the summer.
all in all i have nothing bad to say about the good nite inn>
