Businiess name:  Rasputin Music

Review content:
Rasputin's is a local, independently owned music store, with a few locations in the Bay Area. The San Lorenzo store is located on Hesperian, right across the street from the old Target. When you walk inside, it looks like a fairly large warehouse. Rows of bins line the floor, full of items placed mostly in alphabetical order (they even separate a lot of stuff out by band). They carry vinyl, new and used CDs, new and used DVDs and video tapes, and posters. The staff has always been pretty knowledgeable and helpful, in my experience. They generally check in with customers as they walk through the store, to make sure people are finding everything okay. They also offer a free discount program where you'll save a few dollars off the regular price of many of their items. If you like to shop there, it's really a good deal. And if you have a bunch of old music or movies you'd like to unload, Rasputin's will by it up, usually for a pretty fair price. Be sure to check out their wall of sampling stations where you can preview a bunch of CDs by donning a pair of headphones. It's a great way to make sure you aren't wasting your money on a CD, when you'll only like one song. And I've found some cool new artists that way, too. They usually offer a pretty wide selection of music to sample, so you should be able to find something.
