Review content:
Vroman's gets the best events in the Los Angeles area since most of the major authors make a stop here. They've got a wonderful literature and fiction selection, cute little coffee bar, a delightful children's section upstairs, and separate area with specialty papers and gift wrap. They have better selections than any Borders or Barnes and Nobles in the city with an awesome magazine rack and unusual array of bargain books. The only bookstore with better bargain books in California is in San Francisco!
