Businiess name:  Joe Louis Arena
Review by:  T B.
Review content:
Joe Louis Arena - Home to the Detroit Red Wings. The name Hockeytown is most appropriate. It's always a great atmosphere with some of the die-hard hockey fans. Most games are alway sold to 3/4 capacity. If you're not into the game at least you can do a lot of people watching. This place is definitely the hangout as the games draw people as far as 2-3 hrs away to come down to the Joe. You can even watch away games on Joe Vision on the big video box. This is also one of the few arenas that sell the cheapest standing area tickets. The dedicated parking structure has more than enough space for all of the ticket holders. Also plenty of people park on the street a couple blocks down. Since the games are very popular, there are always tens of police officers at hand to see that people get home safely despite Detroit's crime reputation. If you're even visiting for just a weekend, make sure to go to a home game. JLA also hosts different concerts though the sound stage isnt that great.
