Review content:
I would not recommend The Anamosa Furniture Mart if you are in the market for new furniture. Although we had a really good experience with them a few years ago, a recent experience with them was so bad that I will never shop there again. Delivery and set up is included in your purchase price. However, when the bedroom set that we ordered turned out to be complicated than expected, the delivery guys complained the whole time and were quite rude. To make matters worse, they didn’t read the directions that came with the furniture and set it up incorrectly and damaged some of the brackets used to hold up the hutch on the desk. When I called them about it, they didn’t acknowledge that they had done anything wrong. In the end my husband had to spend a Saturday afternoon taking the set apart and putting it together correctly. This included a trip to the hardware store to replace the “extra” screws the delivery guys took with.
