If an item that you purchase has even the slightest ding on it, they will out right refuse to return or exchange the merchandise, even when within the 30-day period, which in this day and age is unheard of. Basically, if you shop there, be 100% sure that what you are getting is definitely a keeper, and don't even think to put it on (and check before you buy to make sure there are no preexisting conditions), or else you will be stuck with the item. I am looking in to disputing the situation with my credit card company so that they don't get paid :). The policy on the back of the receipt is very vague. Will never shop here again, and am making a point to let everyone I possibly can know about Rack Room's horrible policy. ANY other store in the mall or outside of the mall has a better policy than this store.
