Review content:
Having recently moved to Austin from Tennessee, I went to this clinic due to having a severe sore throat. I was taken to the examination room fairly quickly and the nurse did the typical vital signs and small talk. Being a health administrator myself and working with doctors and nurses on a daily basis, I know a considerable amount about health care. My exam room was directly across from an open area where the doctor and nurses appeared to be congregating. I listened to them talking about books they had read for at least 1/2 hour. Eventually the doctor came in to the exam room, asked me what was wrong and wrote out a prescription. He was almost in and out in 60 seconds. I asked him to look at what appeared to be a nail fungus on my left thumb and he told me to see my family practitioner for that. The doctor was obviously not concerned or caring about his patients. My insurance company was billed $185.75 for this quack's 60 second evaluation and referred me to my physician in Tennessee. What a joke!
