Businiess name:  MEND Prompt Injury Care Clinic
Review by:  Gayle D.
Review content:
I am a marketing communications consultant and worked as part of a team to launch the MEND Prompt Injury Care Clinic located in Shoreline, just north of Seattle proper. During the course of the project, I ended up having an accident with my large recycle bin. It overbalanced and the weight of it knocked me down our aggregate driveway scraping my knees, bruising my forehead (the lid hit me), and grinding the skin off my knuckles, particularly the two middle fingers. A week or so later as my fingers started to heal, I found I was having trouble bending them. I went to the MEND Clinic (which is a subsidiary of NW Hand Specialists). During my first appointment, I was examined and x-rays were taken to immediately determine if there was any structural damage. During this visit they were able to confirm that there was no damage internally to bones etc, but that I did need to receive therapy. Before I left, I was able to get an appointment for therapy within the next couple of days to have my first session. Between the exercises that they gave me to do and the silicone bandages they recommended, my hands are back to full functioning and I credit the team at MEND for their effective treatment. So, while it originally started out that they were my client, I became theirs.
