Review content:
The above comment is valid but I find it funny they actually do not mention anything about the food?
This will be my second review tonight on a different site. I was seeking an actual Sanibel website but thus far have not located one.
Tonight was my second visit to Sanibel with my parents. I enjoy seafood and was rather optimistic about going. I ordered the Broiled grouper with onions and tomatoes, as it sounded delicious and for $11.95.
I must say, it looked nice until I moved the tomatoes and onions from atop the fish. Then I noticed such a small portion of meat and I will say it looked like the meat was blended (It honestly looked like they tried to cover up the meat as to make it not a noticeable due to its condition). It was not a nice filet but looked like junk meat... and the taste also matched its appearance. So to say the least I was disappointed and honestly you could have found better seafood at Libby Hill (and that’s not saying much).
Afterwards I realized this exact same thing happened on my first visit when I ordered the tilapia... that is very poor food quality and preparation. (The first time I did say something to the waitress and ordered something else which took longer than the first order and had to get it to go.) So when the second visit brought about an even worse experience found it best not to mention it to the waitress, as I did not have all day to wait on a second order.
My mother and father also went with me and the broiled flounder looked ok but tasted old. I will not recommend this restaurant nor ever return.
