My name is Jessica Geer and I received a referral on Dr. Z from my best friend who had 2 children delivered by Dr. Z. Upon discovering that I was expecting, I made an appointment and Dr. Z's staff squeezed my husband Danny and I right in. During the 1st ultrasound, Suzanne found no baby in my uterus where it should be. In the same evening, Dr. Z and Lynn (Nurse Practitioner) had me prepping for surgery. An ectopic pregnancy itself is not a big deal, however, my ectopic pregnancy burst out of the fallopian tube and latched itself around my colon. Miracle #1 was that Suzanne found the baby when 2 others (another OB and an ER sonogram tech.) could not find anything. As it was, we were somewhere between months 4 and 5 in pregnancy. The placenta had wrapped around my colon and begin to cut it in half. After 4 hours in surgery, a little over a week & 1/2 in the hospital and 6 weeks of outpatient care, Dr. Z and her staff were not only able to save my life on more than 1 occasion but also able to salvage my ability to have future children. People joke about owing someone a life or their 1st born but in the case of Dr. Z, Lynn Van Hoosier and the staff at Women's Care Associates, I truly owe these people my life and the lives of my family to be. You would be fortunate.....no, that's not right. You and your family would be blessed to have Dr. Z and Lynn working in your corner!!!
